This is one of the best ESC songs ever!!! I'm from Serbia and I remember voting for it like a maniac... Guess who was the happiest man when Serbia gave Hungary 12pts that year (beside Maria's victory)... Thank you Hungary for having such an amazing artist... pure emotion!!! Hugs and kisses neighbours
She truly understands the Blues. This performance reminds me of an intimate club or smoke filled bar, just nursing the same drink for hours to enjoy the local live musician. This song is a real treasure.
@Different 1 How could Verka get more points than every song except Molitva? Yeah sure, Dancing Lasha Tumbai is good but there is like 20 better songs than Ukraine.
well hungary doesn't quite have the ally countries than other countries have with each other (uk and ireland, the nordics...) so no matter how well they do, they don't always have the relationship between others that solidifies points
I hope You and your loved ones are still alive and healthy! Wish to turn back time and save you all! God is with You all! Wishing all the best to Turkey !
OMG look at her hand at 02:10. I can't imagine what it feels like singing in front of the whole world, I would freak out. You can see she is really nervous and still she manages to sing perfectly. This woman has all my respect.
I don't think the reason why she is nervous is only because she sings in front of a public! I think it is because the tension she had, when she sang some moments before!
Fabulous! So emotional and powerful. I mean, that performance is just too big for words. An absolute masterpiece, and Hungary's best song since 1994. Should've been in winning contention.
I'm getiing goosebumps all over my body when she starts screaming! I think this is what a mastered skill of delivering an emotion looks like! This woman!
She was 2nd in the semi-final but 9th on the final, why? Along with Ukrainian entry, it was just an unbelievable!!! Greetings to our Hunnic brothers from Türkiye/Törökorszag ! 🇹🇷
Aziza Alkan search for hungarian janis joplin, she indeed had a jj rendition on Hungarian Superstar back at the start of her career. It was outstanding.....
I love this song, a real break-up entry and Magdi performed brilliantly with her rough wonderful vocals and put so much emotion in it. You know the Scandinavians have great taste in music when they all gave Hungary high marks in both semifinal and final that year.
This song is one of the best ever Eurovision songs ever made. I still do not understand why it did not win back in 2007 - and why so few could see the quality of it. It should have won instead of 9th place. I still listen to it today from time to time (2024). I hardly never listen to any other Eurovision songs. The winner was OK - with all due respect to Marija Šerifović, who is a really good singer. But this song was just way better and Magdi has an incredible voice and way to interpret the story of the song.
At the Semi-Final, Magdi Rúsza managed to reach the second place behind Marija Marija Šerifović, receiving 3 times 12 points (from Denmark, Iceland and Serbia).
