@@jayvaughn21 I don't think they lost them, I'd say it's still in their house. It's just that since they don't have access to their "original" powers anymore in season 2, Maggie can't use the staff. Maggie's staff was specifically made for her powers (aka, Empathy. The staff made it easier to channel emotions into the staff which then turns it into energy that whenever she hits someone with it, they feel powerful emotional/physical pain on varying levels). So, since she lost that power, she can't use the staff anymore since it was tailored to that power. Hope this helps the confusion!

Angel Sebastián she could, but she lost that power when the sisters were transported in the elder’s lair and never showed that power since. Same with Mel and her freezing ability

I agree, I finally watched Season 2 and I actually enjoyed it. Love that it has a darker and more take on the OG charmed. It's perfect because it is a reboot, and in some way it's kinda like if they did a multiverse because in all honesty that was very present in the OG charmed

I completely agree like I love both the original and the reboot because they each represent different things to different audiences as well to different generations.

Y’all keep comparing this show to the original when we know it’s a reboot. In my opinion it’s slightly better than the OG from the use of magic, graphics and powers

Yeah, at some point Phoebe and Piper felt powerless, so they change the explanation of Piper's powers to give her the explosion power, which has no sense and Phoebe, it makes sense that she is an empath because she felt her premonitions since always, the thing that makes no sense is how her empathy reflects powers

So when I say "OG Politics", I mean the stuff fans bring from the original Charmed to the Charmed reboot. (Hey, almost caught myself saying "Originally Charmed". Sounds like a good episode title to bring the shows together.')

The first four seasons of the OG are easily better than the reboot, but the reboot is easily better than seasons 5-8. That's just my opinion.

"kinda better". You weren't even confident enough to calm IT WAS better than the original. You had no valid points to back up your opinion. The acting alone from the remake already is worse than the original. It's exaggerated, like when you're surprised you gotta make a "wow omg!!" face, very Disney and awkward. The VFX (especially fluid effects) and all look beautiful but way too colorful and doesn't fit with the witch theme. It looks like a Marvel show. This is what makes the original standouts, they kept it simple but effective. We all know the original Charmed casts had dramas BTS but on screen, they even had more chemistry than our 3 new girls. They (Original Charmed) make us feel like they're truly sisters, and they're sisters happened to be witches, that's what made this remake feels like a cheap show. I would not say it is a bad show, but if you're gonna take the name of a legend, you're gonna be compared to the legend.

These girls are apparently already kungfu masters and they were given all their powers at ones not to mention they get new ones like every season. It’s good but far from better

This comment is dumb in the sense that the OG is old so obviously the CGI is bad. The reboot can’t be compared to the OG as the OG charmed ones had to learn how to fight,cast spells and enhance their craft. I love the show. I've watched both the old and the new Charmed. You definitely can't compare the two. What I don't get is if people don't like the show, why comment or express your disdain of the show? What's the point? The fact people take to social media to express their hate for a show is quite perplexing. If you don't like something, simply ignore it and watch something else.

yes! i feel like the most alluring part of the original Charmed was the super-hot sisters. the plot wasn’t great and the diversity was nearly nonexistent. so far, i’m loving this new charmed.

aww naw you didnt..you gonna have to find a better excuse..better storylines and continuity?? they have had more powers than any witch on any show in history over the span of 20 something episodes...and there were plenty of black and POC characters on the OG now. The avatars had a black woman, daryl, his wife, one of the guys Paige dated was black, Paige's boss was black, as well as Prue's for a while, Piper's club promoter was black, the oracle that froze leo was black, booker tv was on and coolio was the dope ass lazarus..and etc..yes alot played demons but who else are they going to play on a show about witches vanquishing demons? the Seer was one of my favorites. a very charismatic super villain and was a beautiful black woman.

If you watch this as a new concept and don't compare it with the original, you'll start to appreciate it more. I've learned to do that with reboots and I really enjoy the reboots that way. It might still not be as good as the original, but at least you get joy out of it.

Only witch magic works in the command center something established in episode 3 although it was more to reference to demon powers but you notice that throughout season 2 he never orbs in the command center it's always outside and the portal in the command center makes sense if whitelighters can't orb in and out probably a security measure there is only two ways in the portal or the door

Their powers were growing separately they were broken as the power of three so they had to fix their sisterhood

Phoebe cant use her powers to fight demon either. She was the one doing all the fighting until she got her empathy powers even then was still serving those hands and feet to the bad guys

Phoebe kicked demon ass in the original. She even had some intense training scenes with Cole.

@@prettyboi89ify sorry for the late response but the power of levitation really fitted well with Pheobe power set: premonitions,levitation and empathy are all tied to her premonitions. With her premonitions she "moves" her mind trough time while with levitation she can move her body in space. And empathy also fitted well since she was alsways shown to feel the emotions of the victims inher vision,she also created a psychic link. The powers are well taught. With Maggie they wouldn't make sense because she was from the beginning about the emotions

@@CyanHope well damn lol thats a great explanation okay I can understand that makes sense I didnt think about it like that. however it just seemed as tho they A could of explained it like that..kinda like how they explained prue astral projection saying she can move or push stuff with her mind so why not be able too push herself outside of her body…it just seemed kinda of random for phobie too get that power based off premonition..like mind reading or mind control kinda like how they are doing with Maggie is a great way of expanding her powers…Even phobie empath power where she could channel there emotions and send the power back didnt make any sense aswell..it would have made more sense if she could generate there powers herself by channeling it thus forming the energy ball in her own hand..kinda of like what she did with piper when she turned into a valkery…I really think they were all over the place with her powers and thats why they just got rid of em all except premonition..

@@marcosnonato I got through about six episodes of the first season. On its own, the show has writing issues and I'm not impressed with most of the main cast. The original show had its problems as well, but the casting was much better in my opinion.

@@kineticpsi When I saw the original, I was much younger and less demanding in terms of script quality and acting. The orginal has a place in my heart for all the nostalgia. I remember that in the end I no longer watched with such enthusiasm because I thought the quality had declined, but when it was over I started crying, because it was years of my life following. Anyway, for all this it is impossible for me to compare.

CGI on The CW shows is generally pretty awful.

Not really its kinda impressive for a television show (only on some shows) y'all act like TV is supposed to have Marvel & DC Movies effect like it takes Einstein to figure that out that budgets can't be comparable and the effects on this show is way better than OG the OG looked cheap at most times the only effects that looked good were Piper Molecular Freezing And The Orbing
