Maxwell's former flame, model Chloe Simpson, comes for a visit and thinks Maggie has what it takes to be a model!
From Season 1 Episode 13, 'Maggie The Model'. Chloe Simpson, Maxwell's former girlfriend comes to visit. She thinks Maggie would make a fantastic model and so she gets her a modelling job. Fran overhears Chloe telling the photographer that Maggie isn't a very good model. In order to protect Maggie, Fran tells her that she should aim for another profession. Maggie is upset and thinks that Fran is jealous!

I never understood why they just threw Maggie in front of a camera and expected her to know how to model. She received no direction, and they didn't give her a chance. She's better off not being in that industry anyway, but how unfair to treat her that way.

@@kristagerry8505 I dunno, I was a 90s teen and while I remember knew socks and short skirts being a thing, but I just don't remember white tights being a big thing. The girls from the all girls school next door to my all boys school used to always be concerned that their legs would look fat and pasty. I'm not saying they did, just that that's what the girls used to say.
