Fran has been the Sheffield's nanny for a year, and Maxwell seems to have forgotten about this milestone!

I told a lady this at my church a few days ago when she told me to tell my grandpa hello and she didn’t realize he had died a month before. There was a mixture of crying and laughter in the room 😁😁

I remember watching “The Nanny” with my own Grammie as a teenager. Yetta was her favorite character! :D Thanks for all of the laughs and happy memories. :)

Fun(ny) Fact ; Grandma Yetta (who was played by Ann Morgan Guilbert) also played Millie the Petrie's neighbor on The Dick Van Dyke show. Ann also at one time, worked on set pregnant in real life with her daughter Hallie Todd. And Hallie would play on set while her mom was filming. When Hallie grew up she played Lizzie McGuire's mother in Disney's Lizzie McGuire. Its funny because as a kid I watch the Dick Van Dyke. Because my mom was such a big fan. We'd get the show on VHS at Blockbuster. Then a few years later I used to watch Lizzie McGuire. But never in a million years would I have connected the dots between the two. Or connect Grandma Yetta with Millie lol.

Some years ago there was a guy in my neighborhood in a wheelchair who didn't need it at all---used it only as a ploy to get sympathy and panhandling money. When I witnessed him getting himself out of the chair with no problem whatsoever, I never gave him so much as a glance. Con man.

Been watching all seasons of The Nanny now that it’s on HBO Max, and I always keep coming to this episode just to see Fran in that baby blue outfit, it’s quite possible my favorite she wore in the entire series.
