A lecture by Saiyad Nizamuddin Ahmad (Department of Arabic and Islamic Civilizations, American University in Cairo) delivered at the Warburg Institute, University of London, School of Advanced Study, on 1 May 2013.
Basically we have so much of such Knowledge in the Arabic world, in Almost All Libraries you'll find a book containing Magic Practices, 9 out of 10 times the Author will include something in the Beginning like "اتق الله لأن هذا سحر" or the famous Quranic verse "ولا يفلح الساحر حيث أتى" Meaning "Fear God, for this Book will Teach you about Forbidden Magic" (All kinds of Magic is forbidden in islam) or include the Quranic verse in the Story of Moses "Magicians will never Succeed" This is Also Mentioned in the Quran, that many (if not All) Magicians will warn you at the beginning; that you're about to sell the Afterlife for the riches of this Earth; meaning you'll be Guaranteed an Eternal Damnation at the Price of having whatever you want on this Temporary Earthly life
Early writings indicate that there was 2 types of magic in Arabic one using aid of spirits(created) which is forbidden and the other using the power of creation itself or directly from God since God/divine will and the creation are essentially the same thing in one
I don’t know if i understood you wrong but are u saying Arabic is bad ? And also in Islam it’s Aalso forbidden to do any type of magic and anyone who does do it will be punished ofc
Hello Saiyad! Thank for these incredibly informative videos. I have a question: in trying to correlate these to my understanding of the North/East/South/West correspondences of Earth/Air/Fire/Water, wouldn't the Fire and Earth squares be swapped in the positions as you have them shown? In other words, shouldn't the "1" be in the "North" position in the Earth square and in the "South" position in the Fire square?
Ah! A little more research has answered my own question. The association of Earth/Fire with North/South swaps based on one's location in the northern or southern hemispheres of the globe. Peace.
I was always wondering why people do use terms like occult, esoterics, magic vefks and ect in islam when islam is pure from it. I was also driven into this, and I have left all this stuff because I have seen where it all leads to. I see you are very much dedicated to your work since your videos often show up on youtube. I wanted to say just this, in sufism there are lot's, (but I mean lot's) of duas and salawats that are full of shirk (giving hazrati Ali, Husayn, and prophet Muhammad features that only Allah can do. For example there is Salawat Nuru-l-Anvar in which you pray to Allah by rain that rains by the face of Muhammad a.s.. I mean what logic is that). Muhammad s.a.w.s. is the best of the humankind, but by reciting such duas, salawats, using vefks by manipulating with Allah's beautiful Names is clearly sinful, and also vefks are almost always connected to the jinn world. They are usually liars, so how can someone believe that you are talking to a muslim jinn or a huddam?? Clearly there is a barrier between these worlds and it must not be violated. Prophet Muhammad pbuh would 100% give us the vefks to use if they were good to us, or show us ways to obtain certain jinns for helping us, but he did not, he knew they are haram. Last brotherly advice to you my friend: If you are not sure if something is right or wrong, just go back to Quran, Sunnah and the first generation of muslims. May Allah guide us all. Amin. 🤍
Your wrong on that because mohamed said in the hadiths that jin-devil command him for good. When there's No good in satan and there's no forgiveness for him. Islam the pagan arab moon god allah-mohamed are of The devil. You been deceived by the best Of deceivers allah-mohamed. Repent an turn back to the true living GOD of Ibrahim isiac and Jacob JESUS CHRIST YAHSHUA. I know islam caused I was one. Take care
Islam is free of all this. Islam is nothing but magic disguised as belief in one God. All Islamic practices are magical practices and Islam is full of powerful magicians. After their death their shrines are build sometimes termed as Dargas and their magical practices continues through their devotees.
Magic squares are mathematical squares that are used for several things, including sports such as the Sukido game, and the sum of the numbers of each square in length and width = 15
worshipping and fear of anything except Allah is a major sin (shirk) in Islam , we only worship Allah , we only fear Allah ,we only ask Allah for help , no matter what .
99 names of Allah vs 50 names of Marduk. The patron god of ancient Ur was Nanaar Sin whose religious symbol was a crescent moon embracing an eight pointed star. (Both present by Kabba)Kabba vs kabbalah. Also the dream of Gilgamesh was of a falling star that the people of Uruk gathered around it and moved around it. Kissing the falling star like a little baby. Loving it and embracing it as a wife. 🤔
The entire title is contradictory, occultism and magic is stricly forbidden in Islam, so much that it is considered a major sin that puts you outside of the religion when you engage in it. The title should be "occultism and magic in the arabic world".
