Lots to like in this new upgrade. The saturation "EQ" is something I will use a lot. The color remapper looks like a lot fun, and a powerful problem solver.
It's great that you have compatibility with Tangent control surfaces. Whata about The Colorista V stand alone effect? Can it be used with a tangent control surface? That would be great.
Hmmm... 1000 Dollars for a perpetual license, no upgrade pricing as it seems and currently no Final Cut plugin for Looks... Bummer. Time to learn DaVinci?

The fact that you removed the upgrade option for everyone to see, seems to me like a big step back in customer relations (also, you give this formal answer on all your social media platforms). In the end, I have to get an individual quote... and if I don't like it, I start negotiating or what? Also, there is no timeline for an Final Cut plugin or an explanation, why there is a delay (I hope it it because you are working on a version for Apple Silicon) - this does not bode well for the future of your products. As a freelancer who only uses Aftereffects occasionally I don't need or want to pay for a subscription of *all* RedGiant plugins, I only need selected ones. So everything is subscription based now and it's either all or nothing? That would be a shame.

What I don‘t like is the very hard push towards an Adobe-like subscription model where the cheapest option is to have every single app/Plugin - wether you need it or not. And I certainly don‘t like this half-assed communication. You want us to pay more? Fine. Say it. Explain it. Don‘t send me to a sales rep like you do with big enterprises who buy hundreds of licenses of Cinema 4D etc. Red Giant marketing revolves around this idea being the tool for the small Indie filmmakers (see their short films). 1000 bucks for one version or a 500$/year subscription does not fit with that notion.
Can you add Magic Bullet to an adjustment layer in Premiere Pro? If you used Version 4 in an adjustment layer, it would usually pull a random frame from elsewhere in your sequence, which was very frustrating. You had to apply it to each individual clip for it to work, which opened up a lot of potential for mistakes.
if i wanted to buy just magic bullet looks separately how much does that cost? i don’t want to buy the 1000 dollar pack that included everything. it’s very hard for me to find more price options on the website.
In VEGAS Pro 17 no matter what your pixel format is set to (8bit or 32bit) sRGB or default, the colors you get in preview or render are not the same as the ones in MBL preview window. Tried so many different combinations with input and output gamma settings, changing the media color space and still nothing works.
Is there a way to scrub a shot within the magic bullet interface itself? (I'm sorry, I'm a noob to magic bullet) I mean - to move to a different point in time of the shot. Sometimes I need to color-correct over time or according to something that's appearing an disappearing in the shot.

Please help me because I am pulling out my hair.. When ever i bring a Lig video into Ae 16bit color space.. and apply MB Looks and apply some tools starting with my Footage is : log it looks grear in MB Looks Viewer untill I press OK but in Ae composition window it looks desaturated and colors different from what i made in Mb.. please help . What is wrong??

I am having issues of Gamma/"Color?" mismatch between the looks UI preview and AE, I have already tried using sRGB, rec709 as Color Space.... etc... my input video is a DlogM in rec709, any idea how to correct this?

Pop open the Tools and the LUT tool is in the Color Correction section. We're happy to point out that there's an all-new LUT management system. You can add your own LUTs (or LUTs you've purchased) to folders and everything.
You import LUTs with the import button on the LUT tool. It's shown at 33:24 in the video. If you right-click on a custom LUT you've imported, you can then pick to have it show you its location in Finder/Explorer. Back out a folder and you can then drag all your LUTs (in folders to organize them) next to that Custom folder. Then, back in Looks, all your LUT library will be handily organized in folders!
A preset is simply a collection of tools. It could get quite confusing if you applied two presets with multiple instances of a tool like Colorista or Renoiser. The easiest thing to do would be to apply two instances of the Looks effect and apply each preset as desired that way.
So Now after 13 years . You are no longer be forced by the Chain Order of tools ( shown as suject, matte, camera, post). So will this going to affect the old saved projects?!
Sorry about that. They should load for you if you have the appropriate hardware. It may be an issue with your GPU driver. Updating it or rolling it back may solve it. Please contact our support team if the problem persists!
@@MaxonRedgiant Looks 5 is very lagging when I add 1500 presets to "C:\Users\username\Documents\Red Giant\Magic Bullet Looks\Presets". Looks 4 wouuldn't be that. Please fix Looks 5.
