I don't mind the jokes in the flavor text but just wish there was more cool and more uniquely magic designs in the art and flavor rather than just being pop culture reference machine.

Woke as in self-aware is not something I have seen used before. I wonder if it's a common phrase in Germany.

Woke is supposedly awareness of how things work but never heard a coherent sentence from someone who's woke that was logical, still will be friends if they can accept that I don't agree with them in a political sense. Self Aware and breaking the 4th wall for a joke is more adequate.

Saw the title and feared the worst. Self aware is probably a less provocative use of language in this case. Woke has purely negative connotations in 2023, for example banning magic card artworks due to being "Un PC"
