Great game by Magic from 90/91 regular season against Indiana Pacers. Magic Johnson: 29 points, 7 rebounds, 21 assists, 7/14 FG. Lakers won the game 115:112. www.basketball-...
Born in 72 so I got a chance 2 witness the Lakers in the 80s.Helluva team.Magic Johnson was a bad man.As Mark Jackson would say,Momma there goes that man.
Lakers and Boston through the 80's. Best basketball I ever witnessed. both teams were full of great shooters. blockers. those two teams truly were a full team players.not like teams beyond the 80's. those teams were and still are a me team. with supporting cast.
I aint see no star player have as much fun passing the ball and making their teammates better like Magic. Only star players I see like that today are the Jokić and Ben Simmons.
Chick Hearn was THE VERY BEST at what he did. Plus, Chick INVENTED the terms, "slam dunk", "air ball", "dribble drive", "the mustard came off the hot dog", yo-yoing up and down", "put him in the popcorn machine", "didn't draw iron" and lots of others that everybody still uses today.
This is not 1988 this is the 1990-91 NBA Season because Sam Perkins and Vlade Divac is on the team and A.C. Green don't have a jherri curl anymore lol. In "88" Kareem was still in the league. Kareem retired at the end of the 89 season.
@@nikolajokic3706 You get it, and I agree. Lebron is more like a bigger and higher IQ Westbrook. Great individual passer but not a willing one other than to chase stats.
I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but I think B.Scott is a good a Reggie Miller. If you put Scott on a different team, I bet his #s would be just as good, if not better.
Yeah u right Byron could stroke it,dunk on u,& play sum D.I can see where u goin whereas someone else might not agree. We all know that Reggie would wet u up
I don't know. Uncle Reg was a better scorer, both percentage-wise and in volume. Additionally, I never really saw Byron take over a game the way Reggie could. Don't get me wrong, I'm a die hard Laker fan. I just think Reggie was a better rebounder and assist guy, too. Byron was one of the best role players you could ask for, yet not a single all star selection, unfortunately. The West was pretty stacked back then.
Ironically, B had a stint in Indiana, in the 90s with Reggie. Byron was my favorite player growing up, but Reggie was a notch or 2 above. Riverside's finest vs Inglewood's finest lol
Larry Legend I would like to request a video for magic johnson it is the game against the suns in 1984 where he recorded 24 assists & I cant find it anywhere on youtube please & thank you
