Years ago, Smosh was bought by a company Defy Media, then became a brand. Ever since then, their creative freedom was filtered and restricted. Fortunately, Defy Media shut down. More recently, Mythical Entertainment bough Smosh. Companies don't allow Smosh to be as great and funny, as it once was. The old Smosh is gone forever now. At least we have these funny videos to remember the good old days.

the new smosh main channel stuff is awful, but they’re mainly focused on unscripted stuff now on smosh pit and games, and it’s pretty good in my opinion

I only discovered Smosh a few months ago and only watched their newer stuff, but honestly pretty much everything on Smosh Pit and Smosh Games is gold. The main channel isn't very funny, so I decided to look up classic Smosh to see what all the fuss is about, and.... honestly I don't think this is very funny either. Their unscripted stuff is just way better
