It is Enya who sang Orinoco Flow. I listened to her albums in the 90s as a teenager to feel peaceful. I should do that again! Thanks for that inspiration.
Yes! We loved eating here last year! Mainly because we eat gluten free several of the menu items are gluten free like the "Tastes Like Chicken" and the Brazilian cheese bread. Both were very good! Thanks Maria for the cute video and review!
Ooo I’m so glad you got to try some of these amazing options! Aren’t they awesome’ they really go above and beyond with the theming here too! Did you get to roam around the restaurant
Maria, you always look beautiful with or without light. I love the cheese bread there. I thought it was chimichurri sauce you dip it in, which does have cilantro. I remember really enjoying it. I also got the chicken. The sangria was good there too. Oh, and we got the kids' dessert it was chocolate covered banana bites. Thanks for taking us to dinner!
I wonder if the chicken is rice flour and if so I wonder if the dish is gluten free. I'll have to check it out. Update: It is! Cool. I don't have allergy but bf does. Hope to go to Disney World over next year possibly...
Ooo that food looks delicious 😋. Yes I have heard Orinoco flow by enya and the Celtic woman also sang that song to which very pretty to. Wonderful food vlog Maria . As always it wonderful to see your beautiful smiling face.
If you want theming of course beauty and the beast is amazing! The decor the rooms, you don’t get to meet the beast any more he just walks by you which is a shame but still it’s so neat to see their ballroom and the rose room and more. But if you are looking for food based on taste then jungle skipper is better. At beauty and the beast you are paying for the experience , and jungle skipper the food quality
Always being fascinated to see what the cuisine look like in the Jungle Cruise themed of Skipper Canteen, both Brazilian cheese bread and fish are looking tasty, along with their popular beer.
@@LBVTV Besides beer, there are lemon tea, milk tea, red bean ice, pineapple ice, bubble tea, Horlicks, Ovaltine and herbal tea. You and Mr. Chris would love to try these choices when visiting Hong Kong, Miss Maria.
@@LBVTV I mean the bits up in the rafters .. the small bit of interesting material that you don’t always look up and see. I’m so impressed.. by the why when’s Chris back on. I enjoy Chris (and Trav on Promises channel ). They seem to bring a different perspective to the food/places you go. 👍🏻👍🏻
Oooo you will love it! Definitely take time to see all the memorabilia - no other disney restaurant in disney world off the top of my head has stuff like that . Let me know how you end up liking it!
Ooo thank you- sorry if I didn’t explain better - so not sure if you can slow down the video and see - it’s chimichurri- and underneath it an avocado sauce that looks like a baby light green cream and the chimichurri poured over it. At least that’s what we were told.
@@toast3297 aww you or so sweet! Hey, ya never know! Cause on the other food there was also an avocado sauce that was the same so maybe they got confused 🤷♀️ so much love to you! And it means the world to have ya all a part of this and interacting on our adventures. That’s what makes this LBV adventure anytime we post something all the better!
Thanks for showing us all the hidden gems at skippers canteen. I remember the adventures club at pleasure island. They had one of the best drinks there called jungle juice 😋. Thanks again for showing us everything.
ooo Sandra ya commented first! Love it! Did you see the end with the Walt memorabilia?! how cool... don't know about those butterflies though- what do you think?
I like the butterflies! They are beautiful. At the same time, makes you think...it is a little weird, right? Definitely prefer them in the butterfly garden. Looked up how collections are formed. What do you think? @@LBVTV
I think you did a great job highlighting some super neat and interesting things about the restaurant. I enjoyed exploring with you! The china is pretty. The parrot chandelier reminds me of Tiffany glass. Have you been to Morse Museum in Winter Park? @@LBVTV
It's a red drum - I mention in the vlog they "beat it" lol get it... drum, beating it lol. Is red drum a striped bass? I'm not sure! We missed you last livestream but hope you had an amazing time with your family! We had ghosts mess up the stream and had to buy a new phone lol!
@@LBVTV I think it is a type of bass, but not striped sea bass. From wikipedia: "The red drum, also known as redfish, channel bass, puppy drum, spottail bass, or simply red, is a game fish found in the Atlantic Ocean from Massachusetts to Florida and in the Gulf of Mexico from Florida to northern Mexico."
