i wished Apple was as commited to FCP as Blackmagic is to Davinci. Having to buy all the parts (or rent) to make it work is taxing.

Hi Rafael. Great video! Love the plug-in, but not the subscription mode. As a Final Cut user I don’t really like subscriptions. On the other hand I own lots of the plug-in include in the pack (15) why not give us the option of a single purchase? I think it is time to go serious into DaVinci. Thanks for the video!

You wont be that enthusiastic when you find out about the subscription model. You probably already own lots of mvfx plugins like me. Wel, if you want the new plugin la or updates for the ones you already own, you have to subscribe for 25 euros a month en will be over 40 within a year.

Way cool. I use a Skydio drone that flies AROUND an RV. I want to KEEP the RV video but delete the background. I need the RV spin video, on a transparent background. Would this Roto AI plug-in be the right choice for that purpose?

the difference is, I have already used mRotoAI in production for a client, and Keyer I have not. Keyer is great for quick and dirty rotos - it either works or it doesn't. mRoto lets you refine and adjust, add and subtract selections. It's closer to DR's magic mask or rotobrush in AE. @@motionvfx have installed the 14 day trial but mRotoAI will not load its listed in the effects list along with all the others but will not show in the effects window, have re-installed it 3 times, its states in installer as 1.11GB but only downloads 443mbs….. ignore this sorted it’s user error 😮 had 4K selected in search

I use it and this plugin needs a lot of fine tuning. It’s awfully slow compared to davinci’s magic mask and the AI is very inaccurate at detecting the subject at times

Pumped! I was waiting for this exact series of plug-ins as well. Having a little trouble trying to figure out and tracker screen, but I’ll figure it out. This is great stuff from motion effects. I just wish Apple would purchase their company and integrate it into FCPX natively. But honestly, the subscription cost is totally reasonable for a working professional.

This is not a native fcp feature it is a paid plug in. Apple engineers keep eating foc foods at the canteen. And you earn money promoting 3rd party plug in. FCP never again.

@@ramirezproductions0826 I think 3 weeks of silence on answering this question gives you the answer. If you only need this feature once in a while and mainly use FCP, probably worth the roundtrip to Resolve for the same feature without the subscription.

Capcut is owned by ByteDance, which owns TikTok, so that means they are probably siphoning your data which they are known to do with TikTok. Or at the very least using your footage and audio to train their machine learning systems. So is it really "free" Thanks for watching and the comment!
