Magic Review - Hotline by Lewis LeVal 

Lewis Le Val is amazing. I started weaving readings into my mentalism routines a year and a half or so ago because of him. I ordered ‘Hotline’ as soon as I heard about it, (as I do with most Lewis Le Val releases), and I’m enjoying it. Knowing the spectator’s chosen number creates a fairly heavy-hitting finale to a Numerology reading. I haven’t tried using it with a Sharpie and my Orphic wallet, yet. I don’t think I need to as I perform it now, but it’s a nice option to have. It lives in one of the outside pockets on my Orphic…so I’m ready to go with that one when the time is right. And I agree with you about his voice and his approach. He has a very engaging, friendly and yet logical way of speaking. I’ve never gotten bored listening to Lewis teaching, which is conducive to really learning the material. I like how Lewis mentions in the teaching of ‘Hotline,’ that his maths skills are ‘embarrassing.’ I am the same way, and it’s nice to know that someone who is brilliant and who I admire, lacks mathematical prowess, as I do! And though ‘Hotline’ requires working with numbers, it’s not at all difficult and he explains how to approach it in a way that makes things easier. There’s nothing difficult and there is never any hurry to come up with an equation, or that creates any interruption in the performance and process of the presentation.

Great review David. I picked this up and am working on refining my presentation . This is definitively up my alley.
