A lot of those look really really cool, as I work in the animation industry, every time it turns out to be some sort of flip book or even cinema related it always gets me ! Thanks for the videos dude, been following you for quite a while now and it’s always a pleasure wether it’s puzzles, magic, cards… very cool stuff, merci beaucoup !
Always look forward to these unboxing videos every year. I love the video/photo displays you do. It really shows off the artistry and feel of the cards. I can tell how much joy you have for collecting and it helps promote the hobby for others. I have a half brick that just arrived today and I'm looking forward to seeing what I get! Thanks Chris
Couple of things, they did a few stickers with the 2021 mystery decks. Also, I was really hoping to get the James Coffee ones cause I loved the orange. But, turns out the coffee shop is selling them on their website for $18 so I managed to get a box and I'm happy with that.
Okay Okay... you've sold it... ordering 5 decks now 🙂 I do love your Mystery deck Vid's i missed buying some last year.. I live in the UK so $20 shipping and $15 taxes 😞lets hope i get some bangers!
I got my 5 decks! 2 weeks to ship to the UK taking into account xmas shipping time. 2x Fantastique 2x Purple Wheels 1x Grimmlore Tartan Surprised i got so many duplicate pairs with the choice of 25 packs.
I always love when you show off mystery decks! The designs are dope, the presentation you and the crew put into showing them all off, and seeing you do little displays of cardistry always make these some of my favorite videos. Thank you so much for keeping these up when you get the chance!
Hey Chris! Thank you so much for making more magic and playing card related content again, I really love these videos. Would you be interested in doing another Top 5 Decks of the year like back in the old days? I would absolutely love to see it.
Hello Chris! 😊♠️♥️♣️❤ Love them Mystery Decks. The stickers are a really nice touch. Art of Play never fails to pleasantly surprise. Being a beginner playing card deck myself, I really appreciate the amount of creativity, design detail & customization that goes into each deck. Love it! Yep, having fun! Thanks for the pricing too. 💰
Hi Mr. Chris, I have been watching for, what is it, maybe 7 years now. Since the street magic days. Just wanted to say you have NEVER let me down with any upload and the insane growth of everything you have done is truly inspiring to me and at the least I want to say thank you. You show me that hard work pays off and to find what you love to do and keep pushing. So, cheers to many more success and happiness to come!!
I think the mystery is part of the fun but I could see doing 50% random and 50% random deck that you could get show ya what’s available and they pick half of what you could get
Hey Chris! Been lurking around the channel for a couple years now. I love your enthusiasm for magic and puzzles and I love your vids. Keep up the great work!
I think a person could get hypnotized with those Eames Office cards! Lol But, very cool looking, nonetheless! I'd love to see someone do cardistry with those.
I LOVE when you do deck videos! I'm always introduced to 3 or 4 decks I wind up getting...lol Your videos are how I was first introduced to Art of Play as well! Thanks for the vids!
I subscribed to Art Of Play's annual mystery deck sale approx 4 years ago and NEVER got any notification on that matter again (except for their annoying daily newsletters) and also never got the chance to aqcuire some from them! Why? It is only for select people? And if not for subscribers of that very mystery deck sale, who is? RU-vidrs? Influencers? I feel a bit "scammed" here.
Chris: "you gotta play with your cards, kids. You can't just _leave 'em in the box._ Also Chris: I'm not going to open _this_ one up. I've opened this deck before, but I don't have any unopened. Also also Chris: Every year we are sent a (Sponsor furnished) box FULL of rare playing card decks. [25 Decks × $12/Deck=**$300.] **You'd pay $300, (+S&H?) to open a series of decks like Chris here.... which he gets sent, yearly. Other opportunities for free cards exist during the year, I'm sure... But don't you foolish kids try to collect mint specimens like me. Use them and then buy MORE! Chris is a sweet guy, but this kind of disconnect of experience (good for the goose not nec. good for the gander,) and implicit support of blatant consumerism (disguised as content) bugs me. I really dig the cards, too. Update; upon review I believe his comment to the audience, including consideration of the "kids" moniker, just really rubbed me the wrong way, like a kid in --an ivory-- a golden tower with all the toys in the world, telling his friends the best way to play with toys like his, offering no solution when their ONLY deck unit is ruined from hours of Klondike and baby teeth. _just buy another 25 decks?_ I'm 90% sure this isn't his intent. But he's not a dummy, either... ah well, vent concluded. (Ps- autocorrect for "vent concluded" was initially "Brent fondled." Goodnight, I love you.)
Just ordered 5 mystery ones! Can't wait to see what i get UPDATE: So i got my five. And i have gotten these decks Eames Starburst black and white Ramen heads Curious Wonders (Blue box with grid) TRÜF messymod V2 Smokey Bear Yellow Limited Ed.
Hey dude I'm a huge fan and love all of your work from the puzzles to the magic to the insight on cardistry and everything just wanted to say much love man and I hope I can do half of the things that you're capable of. Thanks for always providing A1 content and even greater connectivity with your watchers.

Awesome video Chris! I've been a fan of your channel for a while - love your escape room and puzzle videos. You always set the bar higher with every one of those and they're insanely fun to watch. As a designer I also love the look of the playing cards so when you go into the details of each deck it always fascinates me to see what's done differently. As not only someone who appreciates the design but also uses them for magic and cardistry - what would you say are some of your favorite details or design choices you would like to see on a deck? I'd love to know your thoughts in case I want to design a deck in the future.
You couldn't find the "Smokey Bear" ones because you searched "Smokey the Bear". It's just Smokey Bear. The Yellow ones are sold out, but they have brown, green, and standard for $15 each.
hey hey, one quick question....... could u review the Somnium Playing Cards ? I know there need to be shipped from Germany, but i love them and i think u would love them too ! If u read this, thx for reading and thx for letting me learn Magic and Cardestry, i love this Hobby and u are one of the reasons i even started, so thank u very much !
I just rewatched all of yur deck opening videos, and order 3 mystery decks along with the Ultimate deck😍 But im definitely getting 24/25 mystery decks next year🔥
I play cards with my cards; weird I know lol. And, have a good 20 or 25 decks of playing cards. However, I noticed since finding your channel a few years ago (side note: I swear it feels like yesterday I saw this 'same' video. I too love the stickers lol) I now have 6 or 7 decks that I have up and not for playing. They are cool to me Barbie, Marlboro, fairies, and so on. Thanks for the inspiration; some of those decks I will have to keep an eye out for maybe a poster of the cards. Like an affordable uncut. ;)
Been a fan for awhile! And have been playing with cardistry and collecting cool cards I can find. In my own words. I love the artwork and the effort that goes into "collector" playing cards. I used to smoke cigarettes, don't do it kids! Stay healthy!, And I'm happy I have the same feeling of opening a fresh deck of cards to play with, vs a pack of smokes. The best folks from both, both have a satisfaction of looking at the packaging and opening them and seeing the goodies on the inside! I've quit smoking for over 3 years now, and I'm happy to say that cardistry and playing cards helped me in my journey of quitting and finding a better "fidgeting" alternative. I'm still practicing how to "kickflip" the cardistry way! Thank you for your chill, honest, down to earth videos man ✌🏼
Since these are specially curated for Chris, they've obviously way different than what a random person would get buying 25 decks from them, as you can and probably will get duplicates.
The wrapping for this year's 2022 mystery decks is a puzzle with a word to decipher... Just trying to figure it out.. from Dan and Dave's video here on RU-vid the word they say coms as no surprise..
Can't wait to get the brick I've ordered. 😃 But I'm sure my unboxing isn't gonna as cool as yours. (Pretty obvious they hand picked the decks for you 😉)

21:10 - welp.... Chris is the reason of why I'm rather tipsy at 10am in the morning lol Awesome video, I've been waiting for this video for... Well a full year now. Can't wait to see next year's
I love your content and I Love When you do these unboxings because I love watching you getting a feel for them, your really good at fanning them out and flipping the cards. Sorry don’t know technical terms.
Is there anyway to buy a pack of mystery decks like this? Or do we have to buy each mystery deck individually? It would be fun to do unboxing like this for myself
Don't take this wrong, but how sad is it that I feel like making a video of 1 deck in this level is a big work. And you did how many in one video. Respect ans humbeled. Did you fly thrue all the decks without brakes or have it in few go's?
