I've witnessed Harry doing this feat. Most viewer of this do not recognize that he has just memorized the names of every person in the audience. Note that he addresses them by name during the tossing of the dollar bill. He was one in a million! RIP, Harry.
A true LEGEND at work.......Mr. Harry Lorayne. And people think magic squares are boring. This clip proves beyond doubt that it is the presentation that's absolutely key to jaw-dropping, brilliant entertainment. And I truly believe that nobody could put this across so exceptionally well as Harry.
Some magic tricks work because the audience doesn't even consider the easy but tedious solution. How likely is it that he memorized all 67 magic squares between 34 and 100?
He didn't. I learned his system as one of my projects during the covid lockdown. There is memory involved but not rote memory of all those magic squares.
