Thank you for the beautiful walk-through. I enjoy the shots of the fungi. I find their many forms fascinating. Loved seeing the chipper little robin again! He reminds me of the baby robin my husband rescued a couple of years ago. He was mowing the yard and found the sweet little thing on the ground and quite distressed. He built him a milk carton nest and tied it to a tree branch near his real home. After a bit, the baby’s mom returned to feeding him. And a week or so later, he flew off on his own. But whenever my husband was in the yard or washing the car that spring, the young robin paid him a visit. It was quite magical! Love to you, Jack and all of Bealtaine! 🥰
I absolutely love your wooded area. So magical. Also, Jack is the best, most obedient dog ever. Such a sweetheart. Blessings Colette. Hugs to you both.
❤❤❤ exactly, Colette 🙏 When you point the camera away from you . . . I hear the essence of what you are sharing AND I do feel the MAGIC ❤❤❤ I am relaxing in front of the morning fire, while listening to your wisdom 🙏 thank you for sharing, friend . . .
Doesn’t it seem that even though we’ve witnessed the regrowth of the earth for many many years, each spring seems like the first one we’ve seen! It’s so exciting to see plants come to life again. 🦋
You again came up with a profound thought compiled in one sentence, it is such a gift that you have. You said :”you only have to walk through a woodland, and you know what magic is.”. This is so true ! You come to sense the magic only when you are immersed in nature’s creations. Beautiful meaningful thought , Colette.
Hi Colette & Jack, love your videos. Your voice is so relaxing as you take us on a stroll through your magical gardens., showing us all the different varieties of plants and trees. ❤️ Much love to you & the boy
I just discovered your channel and enjoyed a magical walk through your woods as a preparation for Imbolc. You are so lucky so have so much natural beauty surrounding you.

I stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and I have to tell you how thankful I am that I did. Your videos are so relaxing to watch and listen to. What you are doing at Bealtaine is truly a magical, wonderful thing. So thank you, for all that you do! Many blessing, Elishia 🌸
My 2021 intentions are to do what I want when I want - without dogma. What a lovely, peaceful way that must be to live. It’s exactly what I’ve been needing but couldn’t articulate.🙏
Dear Colette , even in the winter , without leaves 🍁 , it is an enchanted forest 🌳 . As a child I loved and painted the bare drones of the trees . The variety of crowns has always fascinated me . Best regards and many hugs 🤗 to you ,Jack and your loved ones from Conny Braun and cat 🐈 Felix from Germany . 🌍🤗🙏🏼🐈🐕🌲🌳❤️🍵🌏
Hi Colette, your room looks like ours full of Washing, hard to get it dry this time of the year! But it is a wonderful magical time of new beginnings. Crows are such fascinating creatures always surrounded by them talking to eachother! Mother Earth indeeds deserves praise. Blessings to you and dear Jack.
I can understand the dissatisfaction with dogma. I observe renewing my marriage contract on Imbolc, telling my husband he can walk out of the contract. He keeps renewing it. Good fun, and Spring is coming!
Brighid 's blessings to you and our beloved Jack. I love so much this time. And I make Brighid 's Cross and put on my room 's door. I wish that Brighid brings the Spring soon to you. And continue planting always. 😘💖🤗😘💖💖👍☘☘☘☘
Thank you again Colette. Could you take us for a dander down to the stone circle sometime please? I've been thinking about it a lot lately. Blessings Edel

So enjoy your video's and learned so much from them. And yes, nature is full of magic and you help us to see just how magical.Wishing you and the lovely Jack a great week!
We still have another good month of colder winter weather here. The ground is snow covered and probably will be til mid march..my guess. I will be glad when spring comes as the cold damp weather is not my favorite. Thanks for sharing
Collette please adopt me. I am only 64 and I would live in your small building and be very quiet. Hahaha. I am only joking. Love and hugs dear lady . You are an angel.
That budded out tree looks like Salix discolor---we call them pussy willows. They do bloom early and grow more like a large shrub than a tree. 6 to 15 feet tall and 4 to 12 feet across. Cuttings make lovely dried arrangements inside early before the buds open out into flowers and I have seen wreaths made out of them as well so I guess the branches are bendy enough to do that easily. I've never grown one before but have one ordered to put in the back yard. It will be nice for the early emerging insects and will also camouflage my compost bins once it gets up to full size----it will come barefoot and will be only about 1 to 2 feet tall..
In New Zealand between Winter and Spring the weather is variable of course but you get a false sense of security of "oh yes, let's plant the Spring veg." Lol not before the 12th November as otherwise there are late frosts to put you in your place. Enjoy Imbolc and Bealtaine as we begin to tuck in for Lughnasach.
It was interesting seeing your work in the cottage to make space and let in fresh energy (it looks lovely), as I've just spent the day doing the same thing! I understand totally about the magic of woodland too.
Aaw! The catkins are indeed lovely. My son made a beautiful wreath out of dogwood for our front door this winter, it is rather like willow. We will weave some spring flowers / shrubs into it soon to celebrate the changing seasons. Really enjoy walking through Bealtine with you & Jack.
I saw your spinning wheel - and said look - she spins she spins! & on another video - you talked about taking your knitting out - would love to know your favorite knitting adventures- mine are socks & sweaters (jumpers?) Oh your garden is lovely - just absolutely lovely.
My growing season is much like yours...perhaps a little colder but rarely. Lots of rain here! Do you think the big bamboo like yours could survive living a huge flower pot? Or is there an ornamental shade tree that could live in a pot? I'm in an apartment with a big back yard but we can't plant there only in some pots on our patio or wide sidewalks. I have typed these in on You Tube search to find out what I can have for shade here but nothing is definitive. Also, Colette, can you use your little floating pond greenery in smoothies? Is it edible and nutritious? Wouldn't that be great if it was like Water Cress!
@@user-ed7si9no7i ..thank you, Mary. Knudsen was my mother's maiden name!! My grandfather was half Norwegian and half Danish...with an Indian Princess somewhere in the mix...don't they all say that?!! My old home on 3 acres much like Colette's was covered with Vine Maples..I would bring them up from our woods along with the big ferns and plant them by the house. My son just bought that house from his dad. I will ask him if he would dig me one! I never even considered that!! Thanks again!
Yes real magic cannot ever be pinned down as John o'donohue said in the opening line of anam cara- it is strange to be here, the mystery never leaves you alone -
