I'm from Rajasthan, India, on the other side of Thar. When she sang "The people of Thar were awakened," I got goosebumps. We're all the people of Thar, on both sides of the border, representing Rajasthan, India, and Sindh, Pakistan! The Thar Desert unites us. The culture, traditions, and clothing are exactly the same as what we have in rural Rajasthan, especially in Marwar! I'm so amazed and grateful to Coke Studio Pakistan and especially Xulfi for celebrating my culture ❤ Though I don't understand Sindhi, it's very similar to my Rajasthani Marwari language, but the culture of Thar is the same on both sides ❤️

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Xulfi needs to be considered for the highest civilian award in Pakistan if he hasn't already received it.

Our grandparents came to India during partition, as we are hindu sindhis.. They brought their culture here with them, but sadly we are losing it slowly. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank coke studio pakistan for throwing light and recognizing sindhi culture and music❤ Love from India😇

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that someone would topple Rohail Hyatt's Legacy. Xulfi has done what many couldn't do or what wasn't possible, i.e. to take CS Pakistan to newer heights.

My grandparents were from Larkana. Due to partition, they moved to India. Growing up heard so many stories from them . I always loved Coke Studio music and very happy to see Coke Studio Pakistan feature a Sindhi song. I can't get enough of this "Penje je sikke te tu Larkano ghumande !!" budhi kare dadho khush thi vyus !! Thank you for bringing this to the world !!

The Pakistani music domain is so evolved. Never seen so much heart and research put into a single song. As an Indian i can clearly feel the difference when i listen to contemporary music on both sides. Pakistani music touches the heart, is deep and connected to the roots.

Watched this with tears in my eyes. Sindh is soo culturally rich and diverse but is so underrepresented and stereotyped, Thankyou to coke studio and Xulfi for diving so deep into sundhi culture. Umerkot is filled with gifted singers and teaming them with a folk singer and a sindhi rapper! is just crazy.
