PPG top Musket player here. If doing a going 2nd build, which I believe is the way to go with this deck, you want crooked crown as a 1 of to continue plays, alongside the Utopia double package. It's a VERY consistent way to close out games and does not hurt consistency as your extra deck has wiggle room for about 3-4 slots.
@@badcaseofthebajabada ran 2 at the time. If you hit the double, you just play without it and focus on control. TCG list now, I'd play it as the 1 of. The other pots also work (extravagence and Prosperity)
@@15Thibs DPE is hard to manage as not only are you running the bricks, but you need multiple bodies on board to help make it more guaranteed w Anaconda. I think hand traps or more disruption has a stronger place, as muskets themselves already give turn-by-turn value that DPE provides. Dogmatika has potential, but you can't run the Normal summons, as you need to use those on your muskets. The deck needs to be played relatively pure w the main deck monsters outside hand traps.
what exactly does the trap serve? do you really beg for the SS? I do understand since I played the deck myself (but it has been a while) and I know how they need monsters on the field but I just ont get it, 1 of where wont see it unless you search it but at the same time you would like to search sth useful. my headcanon is to go after the lvl 8 boss monster of theirs! I raelly like it and think has a decent effect! a 1 of is definitely welcomed!

Really recommend crooked crown even if it is just another name for Max. The deck really struggles with board wipes and putting more muskets on board and can come in clutch with technical play. Plus the faster you can get doc and Caspar both on field the faster you set up having access to all your musket spells and traps every turn.
Tough break on that last match, I don't have too much experience with trap heavy decks but it feels like running these alongside one of those might help cover some of their weaknesses. I like how the Link 1 is basically there to fill up on "shots", because the deck's gimmick is running a bunch of powerful HOPT effects and relying on draws for that would brick this way too hard to get anything done. I hope this deck gets support in the future, there's actually been a number of trap heavy archetypes in the past, but outside of Paleos this is the only one I've seen that looked interesting to play. But it also looks like an uphill battle, being a Freeshooter ain't actually free I suppose.
really fun to watch! but you had a small fart brain in the last duel where you could have summon doc EXACTLY same column as the set of the opponent, since this latter flipped it instantly which would allow you to grap sth frmo the GY like the trap that pop or the needle one! and yes you definitely should have went after aleister, I really dont get why you went for the dead fusion but again, a lot of fart brains, kinda stinky XD gg! it was fun! ^^
I love muskets! Personal opinion: I kinda think Dark Ruler No More works better for Muskets rather than Forbidden Droplets because the cards don't do anything in the grave; also you have use the spells and traps then chain droplets in order to get the best value, otherwise you have to minus. Also Crooked Crown has saved me multiple times. Until Into the Vrains gets released, it's pretty necessary (probably will still be necessary after its release).
I had magibullet but I dismantled everything my problem with master duel is that it makes the most consistent decks and makes them look like a deck full of unplayable cards. In strikers I play 10 monsters 8 games in a row my first 6 cards are nothing but hand traps my opponent had an answer for every time I used them. In musketeer I usually get all monsters or all spells and traps when I was playing it. As you can imagine playing against a deck like tri brigade or something like that you can’t afford to open that badly so I stopped playing this deck broke my heart kinda lol.
