I've been messing around with building budget decks for a while so here's the few I can recommend. Lithium definitely knows most of these decks but regardless I've given a bit of a description for anyone who may want more information before trying them out. ~ World chalice if you are willing to use the super's and ultra's the solo mode hands out. It feels like konami really wanted people to try this deck out. They gave us almost every UR and SR directly needed to play it (Imduk, Aurum, Ningirisu, Ib, you name it it's probably there). As a bonus the story mode even gives us World Legacy Successor for free. Probably one of the best cards the solo mode has to hand out. Venus, her Shineballs, and Exodius are all rare's in this game along with World Legacy Survivor to help you fish for the World Chalice (or Successor and World Legacy Heart which is also obtainable from the story mode). Link Spider also comes with the link starter deck for even more ways to get vanillas out of your hand. Hell the starter deck even comes with triple Unexpected Dai to start your combos and bait disruptions before you normal your Venus. Deck can do crazy link combos to draw 3 off Ningrisu who also provides very strong non targeting removal. There's also plenty of funny rare links like Geonator Transverser to steal games with. (Fun fact they always try to Ash Blossom your Venus in this game, laugh and continue your combo as normal.) ~ Crusadia if you are willing to pay for only 2 SR's (1 Crusadia Magius and 1 Crusadia Equimax). You can also use the World Legacy Successors from the story mode. Honestly a very successful budget strategy going into this single duel format. You can break there boards by Kaijuing their monsters (with added utility placing the Kaiju infront of where you are going to summon Equimax for free attack gain) and using Forbidden Chalice to turn off any other threats before you link climb into your otk with Maximus giving Equimax double damage. Parallel Exceed can help make cards like Crazy Box to boost Equimax's attack and World Legacy Lance can basically honest your opponents monsters to secure victory. Deck consistantly deals over 8k with one punch making duels end really fast. I enjoyed this deck so much I ended up buffing it with SRs and URs and am currently using it to farm dailies. Normally crusadia doesn't see much success in modern yugioh because once they know you are playing crusadia they can work hard to make the otk unpheasible or just force you to go first game 2. But in this blind 1 and done format people kindly make you go second so you can hit them for 12k+ and run off with your gems before they even realize you are playing Crusadia. ~Megalith Decks entirely rare and normal and it's only super rare isn't really needed to play. Can get a lot of easy wins by disrupting your opponent's turn by using Phul to ritual Bethor from deck and just nuking all their cards mid combo. Manju and Senju are rare's and a fair bit of the Impcantations are rares. You can even tech in a few rare generic rituals to spring on the opponent with Och like Lord of Red and Odd Eyes Gravity Dragon. (This is mainly to make up for the fact that Magician of Black Chaos MAX isn't in the game and we have no idea what rarity it will even be if we get it). ~Majespecter This one I've been trying out recently so I have the least experience with it so far. Everything in it is rare and normal but it's a bit rough to play the deck without using electrumite to make up for how hard the deck got hit by the link restrictions and kirin's ban. The decks is probably the best going first deck out of all of the one's I've mentioned so far. It can consistantly search it's disruptions and removal spells.. it's just a bit difficult to keep the resource loop going and provide enough damage to finish your opponent off before they can recover the next turn from your disruptions. It feels really close to working but something about it feels just a tiny bit off. If anyone has any suggestions of what budget cards can't be added that can directly improve the decks playstyle (besides you know the very generic cards like chalice, torrential, lost wind, book of moon, etc) be sure to let me know. I know IRL they just throw utopia double in for a win condition but I'm sure there's something more budget than that. ~Phantasm Spiral It exists and I know it can exist on a normal and a rare budget but uhh... I can't give any advice on it that deck is really really really not my playstyle and you can't make me build it. Welp there's my poorly written essay on MD budget decks. I know crusadia's technically the least budget of the few because you have to burn 60 SR points to play it but I highly recommend trying it out. It was my favorite of the bunch with World Chalice being my second favorite (I ended up SR/UR buffing World Chalice as well due to how much I liked it). (Tip: be sure to burn your SR into Magius first and see if your free pull of the pack can get you equimax. If you pull another Magius off the free pull instead of Equimax don't sweat it. The deck likes running 2-3 magius so it works out. Equimax however is normally played at 1 so it be really rough for you to burn SR on Equimax only for the free pack to give you another Equimax.)
Tanyi are always fun. There are interesting variants in Phantasm Decks. Your new channel banner looks really good. I myself have built N and R only decks for the XYZ event and they were just "delicious" :).
One of the best decks under this challenge should be Draco Tenyi with Iron Dragon Tiamaton. The Draco cards are good enough on their own because true Draco apocalypse can trigger all of them, while halting attack of opposing monsters.
It was so refreshing to see this type of deck which is somehat combo based but does not lose to maxx c or dark ruler and similar cards having strong traps, backrow to back it up. Great deck Lithium and great video. I would love to see more of this kind of decks in future, its fresh and diverse from usual strategies we see nowadays.
Master duel needs to add a function in public deck search of what rarity we want to see. I'm pretty sure their are more unique Common charity decks out their.
What you could try is to go more for gem knight pearl, so the problem with the monks don't happen to often. Cards that can help here are right hand shark, Dogmatik punishment and oasis of dragon souls. Some other cheap decks can be megalith, majespecter or generaider. There is also phantasm spiral but that's already quite popular. Also some good stuff control could work since there are a handfull of quite decent control cards in low rarity like gendo, d fissure, mind drain, kaijus or royal prison. Some dark control would also be possible dangers, the evilswarm xyz, kagetokage... , maybe even in a pendulum Variant since it opens more aggressive plays with Supreme king dark rebellion dragon.
Great idea. Definitely gunna try this. You could also try majestepters cos the entire deck is rare and normal. Would love to see your take on that deck.
I am very surprised Parallel eXceed is a Common. They could have easily made it an SR or UR. Happy they didn't. The deck looks fun. I might try it out myself :)
@@Lithium2300 Iron dragon Tiamaton is also a „Rare“ Handtrap. -It is spectacular to trigger true Draco spells/traps, when destroying cards in the same columns. Combining Tenyi and Draco would work well, because the tenyi Link 1 and Tiamaton is an extra link. Tiamaton has been performing very well for me.
Love this challenge. Especially since some really solid cards like chalice, lost wind, etc are commons and rares. Me personally, i use all my leftover cp to basically upgrade the cards to be glossy XD
Thanks for reminding me tenyi is a thing, although I'll probably play more of a turbo version of the deck, I used to play needle ceiling in ghostrick, it's actually disguising lol.
Phantasm Spiral is a suuuper fun deck you can build with N and Rs only aswell. Ive been having a great ton of fun with it so would reccomend it if you havent checked it out before
This is a great idea! I went into this tenyi box to get yang zings (to see if TKDYZ is viable in MD with 3 litho and denglong at 1, not much success so far lol, but that's another matter). I was wondering what to do with the tenyis and this is a fun way to play them!
A good one you could try aswell is gadgets with the boot up spell. NOt sure that's the right name of the spell, but I played it today on the new solo mode and I was quite impressed with the new gadget support. Best part its all normal and rare rarities.
I was so mad completing one of the duel on solo mode. They expect me to beat Red Eyes deck with super bricky "God" deck. I had to tried several times before the red eyes got brick too for three turns.
