Thank you for watching! To find out more and to stay at this beautiful yurt: www.airbnb.ca/rooms/39029099 www.honeygrove.ca/ Adam Szoke's wood art: www.aszokewoodcraft.com/ Eyan Myers paintings: www.eyanmyerspaintings.com/
Now this is hands down the best looking yurt inside and out. It has a really great feel and flow to it. It has all the creature comforts you need and some. Very very nice.
It definitely makes it more suited to be a permanent structure. Yurts were originally meant to be portable. And even if they are durable and long lasting, there's limitations to a fabric covered dwelling when you don't intend to move it much.
What an amazing home, both the guy and the gal speak so calmly and she was so descriptive with everything she said. A true artist. Best of luck to these guys
I don't know how it can be determined that the "baby is going to grow up so well adjusted!" It's a 10 minute video. The husband might drink and beat the child's mother. You don't know their lives from a video clip!!!!
@@lordbaphomet295 good point... I guess I'm going off their vibe and the knowledge that an unsupportive childhood def causes multitude of disfunction and issues later in life.
@@lizwik1736 i find I don't enjoy the videos as much when they are about airbnbs you don't get as much info its more about enjoying a stay and not actually living in the space.
@@HelenBeeee I agree. To me it seems more like people taking advantage of free advertising on youtube.. not actually trying to give hope to people who cant afford homes thinking of going into the tiny lifestyle.
As a LOTR junkie I'm in love with that yurt. And this couple is so cool too! I'm so happy to see them growing a family, that baby is adorable ♥️ I wish them all the happiness in the world 🙏🏼
@@ExploringAlternatives I agree! You are my new favourite tiny home channel because your videos are well presented and don't get abruptly interrupted with loud annoying adverts when I'm enjoying the peaceful vibe. Midway Ads always turn people off because they change the mood. Tiny home vids are my calm "happy place" and your filming provides that nicely.
The lovely couple looks like they’d be in “The Lord of the Rings”. Beautiful design. I want to build one out of stone. Love those front doors. The woodwork and natural artistic theme is wonderful
Consider 'papercrete', slip-cast on the exterior...use a projector to project a brick or stone pattern in the evening, then a wire wheel on a sideshaft grinder to carve the pattern in. Looks like fitted stone/brick.
Oh, that bedroom and view @ 5:44. I could live in it forever. What an amazing home you have made for yourselves.A home I could comfortably live in for the rest of my life ❤. You're so very lucky and you are a beautiful family.
I like this family..their home is the comfort of a baby who is content and is pleased to wake up and see beauty..while being held by mommy. Just one of the ways to find your success . Love has done it again : )
The lady of the house looked like someone from Middle Kingdom. I have never seen someone handling a baby with a single hand with such strength, grace, comfort and safety. It felt she could use a shield and sword with equal strength and grace.
I would live here. I don’t often feel that immediately while watching a video, but this is 110+ percent (!!) my idea of paradise. What a divine, wonderful and magickal building.
Amazing place. Someone once told me to 'go live in a Yurt' and I took it as an insult. I had no idea you could make them so nice, including full kitchen fixtures, bath, laundry and fireplace, etc.
Guy came to the architect and asked to plan a round house. Architect asks him "But why?". Guy: "When I told my mother-in-law that I will be building a house, she told me "I hope there will be some corner for me in the house""
It's small enough to feel cute and cozy but still tall enough to live and walk in it comfortably. Everything is modern but still feels kinda fairytale-ish. It's literally perfect.
I feel silly for asking, but I am because I’m curious and love to learn... Where are Nao and Tal from? Tal said “our home country” and I wasn’t sure if he meant Canada or somewhere else. Congrats to them on their little love! He/she is beautiful. I don’t doubt that they are going to have an amazing childhood and beyond. Nao and Tal seem to really appreciate and value nature, and having parents that are this way is not only important, but such a blessing. ♥️ I absolutely love what they did with the yurt and the space inside and out. I don’t know much about Lord of the Rings, but I still appreciate it and think Nao, Tal, and everyone else who helped did an amazing job. I laughed a bit when the bathroom was being shown because I have the same book that they have on the stand underneath the watering can. Then unnoticed that I use the same dish soap when I watched the video a second time. ☺️
I am Kazakh, I am so happy to see such a modernized yurt, the basis of which is the house of our ancestors - the nomads. Just great!!! керемет! Мен қазақ ұлтының баласы ретінде бұндай көшпенділердің ұйін жаңа қалыпта құрғанына өте қуаныштымын!
Stayed in a yurt about 5 years ago. He is actually correct about the heat escaping. The person had a heater in there but it just wouldn't get above 50. It was so freezing cold that I had to sleep with my winter coat on and it was still freezing. You guys did an awesome job. And it came out beautifully. I have been researching tiny houses, yurts and vardos, straw bale hay homes,, homes made out of tires which i experienced first hand and under ground living for the last 30 years and seen hundreds upon hundreds of various spaces of living this one came out beautifully.
Yurts aren't high-tech living solutions. They are felt tents (not canvas) that are heated by coal and dung ovens in the center of the ger. You dress warm in Mongolia in the winter, and you don't bathe or get undressed. 50 degrees is plenty warm for a real ger.
What a beautiful and extraordinary space thank you for sharing that with us! I would also like to see these types of spaces with people living in them not just as rentals for vacations.
I stayed at Honey Grove years ago with my family for a short vacation! They have a guest cottage on their property they rent out as a B&B and it was lovely!
A steel or aluminium trailer with sides that fold down to form a circular yurt platform is a cool idea. Ive seen a video of someone who has already made a 5m circular trailer yurt platform.
Wow, simply wow in every way ❤ to realize in the end , I could possibly visit such a dwelling 🥰 most special yurt ive seen in my 14 years of research...maybe this is why vancouver keeps coming into my awareness😉
