Let's pour one out for the Original MagiQuest that used to be in Myrtle Beach.. I'll admit I actually still have both the key and the fire dragon topper from years ago
My brother and I were close enough to the Myrtle Beach location that we got to go a lot. Collecting enough gold could grant you extra play time, and we would make sure to spend 10 minutes or so per visit grinding to open chests. We barely ever had to pay for time, which made our parents very happy to bring us back. We were devastated when the location closed. It wasn't until I think two years ago that the building was demolished to make something new. MagiQuest was the COOLEST thing to have open during the peak intensity of my childhood dreams of being a fairy.
I remember when the Mall of America in Minneapolis had MagiQuest on the third floor. It was where I would go when me and my mom would go shopping there. It gave me about a good years worth of fun (or two, I was about 12 when I went) before it shut down. I miss it, honestly, and wish I could go to another MagiQuest location soon.
@Nob the Knave Yup! Heck, just over 2 months ago to start off the year, I took a road trip from MN to the Great Wolf Lodge in WI Dells and I did MagiQuest there. Was tons of fun!
Wanted to show my husband what it was for our sons birthday but pictures on their website doesn’t do it justice. This video was exactly what I wanted. Thanks!!
I remember the one at myrtle beach, closed down years ago but had some features you couldn't find anywhere else: pvp dueling, an outdoor quest that went throughout the entire shopping center, not to mention some exclusive quests. Sucks that its gone now...
There was one in a mall by my house in Chicago for a little bit. It was within driving distance i ln my house. It also had PvP. Sadly it closed years ago.
We've passed this place every time we've been to Gatlinburg for last several years. Thanks to you and this vlog we'll be hitting this place this wknd when we come to see Jordan the Lion. My daughters are sooo into the Harry Potter movies..they'll eat this up. Thanks for this vlog.. and of course many of your others as well. Hopefully we'll see you there this wknd too. Take care and keep up the good work.
I went to MagiQuest for winter vacation back in December 2009 in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. You have to open up chests and do certain tasks and you earn experience points just like in a role-playing game. I actually got to keep the wand I got which I still have in my possession.
I remember when there was a Magiquest at the Mall of America. I remember I wanted the pearl and gold wand and wanted to get the alicorn topper, but were told you needed a membership to join and it was actually kind of expensive. It stayed in the mall for a couple of years then left.
They have this at Great Wolf Lodge. I went with my family last summer... pretty fun. Thanks for this... u guys gave me a nice start to my day laugh lol!
The Annoyed Mr Floyd i actually work at this location now! It is superrrr cheesy and old. I played as a kid and i know the 2 in the registration! They have t repaired or fixed anything. The downstairs is a arcade now and they made the mirror maze lesss that a quarter of the size. Come down and see sometime!
@@brycedillard2124 I visited again recently and it had changed a lot from last year. The Lazer vault is gone and the mirror maze was smaller which was disapointing. (I notice the "new ice dragon adventure" sign still up) I don't like the arcade, it was too loud and it took room away from the mirror maze which I was sad to bring my grandma to, telling her it was huge and then getting out in like a minute after finding out it was shortened. The top part was almost exactly the same. BTW do you know if they have the ice and silver dragon adventures and if so where are they located inside the building?
Man, it's been years since I've been here... I had a surprise birthday party here once, and we were able to go enough times that my sister and I were able to effectively complete the game
I know this video was like a year ago almost or whatever but idc I LOVED magiquest as a kid I still have my wand with the majestic crown end and the healing rune attatched. We went to the one at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach SC. Such good memories
Me, my brother and my parents went to magiquest like 7-8 years ago when I was young and I loved it, we had to go back when we visited gatlinburg last year!
Wand toppers also give you advantages usally against enemies for instance the red dragon topper makes it super easy to kill the red dragon it's kinda pay to win
Looks like one of those places as a kid you thought was gonna be sick but you ended just crying and wanting to go home and play video games because it’s so disappointing, you walk around a portly painted lazily decorated room and point at things with a plastic want, wowwwwwwwwwwww so fun
Hey I heard you are from Valpo. I'm from Laporte. Been in Florida for 35 years. I hated the cold and grey winters too. Love all your videos. I binge watch. Haha. Thanks, Karen
