If you're interested, RAID setups aren't that expensive. Search Google for NAS RAID. It's an external box (connected by a ethernet cable) which houses multiple hard drives. When looking through the options, it's worth knowing there are different types of RAID, referred to as levels. If you want the mirroring described in this video, get something that either supports RAID 1 or RAID 10 (RAID 1 would probably be sufficient for your needs). Hope this helps.
Regarding the title and content and the actual information given here this si a pretty horrible video with good intention I'm sure. It's a guy speaking of a few things he has in his studio and one happen to be Sequoia and that's ... it? Three minutes for nothing??? Wtf? I want to know about Magix Sequoia in a video titled "Magix Sequoia: It's A Software Program; It's A Spec-Built PC; It's Both" !!! You do realize you piss too many people off when you have a 40:15 ratio of thumbs up:down?
It's about a 3 minute, and gave some pretty deep technical insights about his approach to his mastering setup philosophy and the tools he used, which includes Sequoia... and all for free! If you are looking for more, perhaps a course or a tutorial video would be more your speed, none of which this video professes to be 🙏
@@MelloCello7 Yeah you know all about tutorials, don't you, fresh out of noobland. And this video is still as shallow and random as it gets. What I was trying to say was what's the point with a three minute video about Sequoia and mastering. He barely have time to mention his studio, what a workstation is in general terms, a few words about Sequoia, what he wanted in a PC including making it silent, the raid setup. If you think that's some pretty deep insights you need tutorials more than anybody.
@@pinkponyofprey1965 I am at a college dedicated to production and sound design. Though there is much to learn as always, your projected assessment is surely inaccurate. Its pretty deep insights for a 3 minute video if you know what to look for, the main take away from my comment is that they are *free* insights from an experienced professional of the field. You can simply click another video or pay for a course instead of attempting to belittle someone you clearly know nothing about.
