Great job very interesting... always nice to see other people’s work. I have had great results mag loops especially with a vacuum capacitor and ferrite core coupling. Vacuum capacitor seems to give more wide bandwidth and ferrite cores gets your SWR down lowest level. Now I’m looking for a good remote control method this looks like it could be perfect. Does it sense SWR and calibrate the loop accordingly?
Thank you Yes you can sense SWR with a small addition to the board. There is a connector named vswr on the board for that purpose. Then it can work in full automatic mode. Take a look at Lofturs documentation. Second pdf on a provided URL on bottom..
I built one using Frederiks board it is an amazing device, I find thou I need to turn it off when tuned else I get a bit of interference. Would like to overcome that problem one day

@@isaacsanchez9673 Buy one from Loftur at the google site in the description, if he has any that is. I purchased one for $20 + shipping. If he is out and enough people email him, I'm sure he would have some more printed up. This way, your money can go to a designer of this controller board.

If you guys will send me a good feedback about it, and if more people would like to have a board (a dozen are waiting in queue right now. I would like to add a design of an antenna to the project, power/swr meter and also an antenna rotator compatible with an antenna design to this board. In a video, DRV8825 is set to put out 0.8 amps. hi i know this is a old video but does anyone supply these boards populated with the components i have attempted to build 2 of these now and they do not work for me i have everything built the enclosure the encoder the teensy but board just do not work :(
