Mtandt Group launched the highest rotating telescopic handler of the world during bC India Exhibition. This brand new model by Magni TH intends to of-fer the highest working height among the rotating telescopic handlers, reaching a maximum height of 35 meters with a load capacity of 2.2 tons. Adding a Jib and it can go upto a height of 47 m. Despite its massive performances, it remains a very compact machine being built on a chassis just 15cm longer than the one of the RTH 5.30; which has been reinforced to sustain the machine in all the strains due to the lifting process.The cabin reflects all the high standards of all our range, but has been moved forward (on the front left corner) in order to guarantee an optimal visibility during the driving of the machine. What is really innovative and original is the boom construction; it is made of six sections and two extension cylinders, both positioned on the outer side of the boom leaving more free space on the inside for hoses and pipes. This solution is optimal hoses are protected inside the boom and are not exposed to hits or accidental damages. The internal hoses are of two types, six-glued hoses and four-glued hoses which eliminate the problem of friction in their movements or to the problem of twisting.The boom is very innovative because it is the software that controls the fifth section. This system is thought to have the best load chart with both the horizontal and the vertical extension, and provides the extension of the fifth only when it is necessary and in a proportional manner to the boom angle.The perforated structure of the boom’s element contributes to the performance of the machine in terms of capacity and allows it to reach 2200 kg of lifting capacity at the maxi-mum height. This machine is equipped with a Mercedes Engine Euro 4 final with 170kW/ 231 hp, one Bosch Rexroth hydrostatic pump (125cc) and a Bosch Rexroth hydrostatic motor (150cc). The hydraulic circuit mounts a pump of 60cc and a distributor Sauer Danfoss with seven elements and security level SIL 2; it is also compatible with a fixed winch on the lower end of the boom.

The 10,000 pound lifting capability is the same as other Telehandlers like the JLG Sky Trak that completely dominates the US construction industry job sites ,plus the Sky Trak' s are 1/3rd the cost ,for the same dollars spent a contractor could buy a National boom truck with 160 feet of height and a 20 ton capacity ,if I was marketing this machine I'd be showing it's abilities to be used as a limited access crane and show customers how having 1 machine that fills the job of a Boom Truck crane, as well as the Sky Trak on every site equates in dollars saved by purchasing 1 piece of equipment that can switch between crane and Telehandler on the fly ,the man lift option isn't a feature that will draw in contractors being the overall price of the machine is top teir pricing of a crane that can be operated as a man lift .

This thing is really cool, it’s a great piece of engineering and definitely has a place in the market do not get me wrong. But if I were to run this thing I would hate it 99 percent of the time. Imagine using this to unload a truck or do a lot of really simple, repetitive lifts. It would take forever. I would much rather have a skytrak most of the time. The only time this would really be better is a heavy, high lift with low visibility and a lot of obstacles. That doesn’t happen all that much, and to me I’d rather just use a normal skytrak or jcb and rely on a good signal person and have a better all around forklift the other part of my day. I’d rather have a skytrak and a real rough terrain crane. For the price tag of this machine it would be hard to justify over buying a used grove or just renting a crane when you needed it. I’m sure it’s a great machine for a lot of people in a different niche of construction but for most guys like me, I don’t think it’s the best choice.
