Nice video! I really you go around nurseries in LA and mention their names. Also, you let us know the prices. I feel like I am shopping when I am watching your video. Save me some gas money, 😂 . Thank you!
You should show this video to the people who own this Nursery!! Reason I say that is it so sweet of you to mention their name and then to show off all their plants and if I were them I'd use this as an ad on TV the local cable station. Not the whole thing after all it's a half an hour but there are parts of it that they could make clips into a one-minute ad on TV you are absolutely wonderful. They also could put it online. Maybe you should show it to them and see if they like to buy it so they could use it. I enjoy your station so much I don't know what would be my number one station cuz I have quite a few favorites and I'm not good at picking the number one. I guess as a retired teacher I never wanted to show favoritism to any of my students so the same with my videos that I watched on RU-vid. But I do know you're in my top five. And that's what I say to some of my former students only I say in my top ten. The only one I would say that was my number one student was assumed that I taught for 5 years or 4 years something like that. I love your videos keep up the great work! You inspire me maybe start my own station or channel will help whatever you call these RU-vid things. God bless you and many years of happiness to you and your husband
I love that rattlesnake Calathea😍😍😍😍. The color under the leaves and the pattern on top is stunning❤. Thanks for sharing this wonderful nursery tour😊👍❤. That Ruby Ficus😍.
I’m in LA and didn’t know about this nursery. Now I can’t wait to go there and spend some money. Their plants look so healthy. Thanks so much for showing us around.
You are very sweet because you talked about where the nursery was and all the plans you were like a huge ad and if I lived in the area and I would be there in a minute to go buy some plants they're all beautiful and healthy. There's someone else on RU-vid that refuses to tell you the name of the nursery where she's at because they won't subscribers support her Channel. I voice my opinion to her and said that wasn't very nice to her followers her subscribers because they would want to go there. I also suggested that if she said the name and asked her subscribers if they showed up there to say they heard about her on her Channel then maybe she could do something about some kind of support for her Channel but I'm not sure whether she even read what I said because I don't know how to go back to where I commented. It used to be on my cell phone it would show up at someone like what I said or made a comment and I could go back cuz there was a link but that isn't on my cell phone anymore. You absolutely deserve that plant you gave them more than the cost of that plant today in free advertising you are an angel and that's why in such a short time you have over 7000 subscribers. Can't wait till you get to 10,000
I love your energy!! I enjoy your excitement and enthusiasm towards plants instead of just focusing on the "rare" plants. Can't help to click on that "subscribe" button! ❤❤❤
Thanks! I have one at home that came with a succulent set, so I thought it was a senecio kleinia....Googling it, I see it is a happy bean peperomia. :)
I bought one today that wasn't labelled and my google search led me to 'senecio barbertonicus himalaya' and 'senecio archeri himalaya' :D it's a plant of many names and mysteries, apparently :D
That second succulent you picked up grew outside my apartment when I was a lil kid! We called it hens n chicks. I don't know what it's real name is haha. I do think that cactus you were pointing at was a euphorbia Also a 40 dollar plant for free! Omg!! Man that guy is very sweet! I hope his shop gets lots of business
You are my favorite plantuber 😁 you are so bubbly and get me so excited to go shopping for plants! You’re reaction to seeing unique plants gets me so excited for you! I also love the music and editing and enjoy that you have your husband filming for you so we can actually SEE your reactions. Keep them coming please 😁
Ah you are sooo sweet Morgan! Thank you so much! I actually scream deep inside when I see a dream plant, but I try to stay calm on camera! hahah! And I will for sure keep these videos coming! More tours next weekend!!!
The one silver pothos at the beginning was probably a silver Ann pothos. They have much more silver and seem even harder to find. Btw love your videos.
Andrew Lewis it was a silver Anne! 🤗 I love their big silver variegations. 🌱 Harder to find than the regular silver Pothos it seems lol. So happy I found mine when I did.
I'm struggling to find a neon pothos as well I bought some cuttings online but I really want a whole potted plant and it's funny because the neon pothos is what started my plant collection.
Logee's has a 6 inch pot of Neon Pothos if you're still looking for one. It's a popular plant site online, I think it's only $12 but shipping can be very expensive depending on your location. Totally worth it if you're local nursery doesn't have them tho. Goodluck 🤗
I found a neon pothos at. Gabriella's plants its an online store as well they have a 4" for $9.00 plus shipping. And I've heard good things about them. So good luck. I can't wait to get mine.
Thanks so much for showing the cacti and euphorbia. I like to look at house plant and tropical designs but cacti arw my plant passion. You even got the names right even though it's not your thing. Congrats on your free plant, I love the plant community never met a plant person I didn't like. :-)
That's crazy - two days ago I purchased both a P. bipennifolium, and the very next plant you picked up as well the P Red Emerald. Purchased on Etsy, I can't wait for them to get here!! Those are insanely beautiful specimens you found there. What a great nursery
I love your plant videos. I live in Arizona. If I drive to California from Arizona is there a border patrol that will stop me from bringing houseplants back to my home? I have been taking notes on all of the places you have gone plant shopping. I want to go plant shopping with a friend at those places. Make it al green mini weekend vacation. Our plant shops here just dont carry allot of the more exotic plants. Plus the quality you have shown us is exceptional. My favorite place to go plant shopping here in Phoenix is Whitfil Nursery. It is near 7th street and Glendale. Family owned and excellent customer service. They have beautiful pottery as well. Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge about plants with us.
You are so cute Jolene! I love how excited you get when you find your dream plant because I feel the same when I find something I’ve been looking for. I miss California so much! I grew up in central California and have never wanted to live in LA (too much traffic) until seeing all of the nurseries you visit and the available plants. I am so in love with that variegated lipstick plant you found. It’s definitely on my list of dream plants! What else is on your list of dream plants? Thanks! Love your channel.
Thank you love! Traffic in LA is still bad! lol! But like you said, we have some awesome nurseries and I'm so grateful for it! I'm on the hunt for an Anthurium warocqueanum!
Your energy is so infectious, I smile every time I watch your video! loveee going on these nursery trip adventures with you. Such pretty selections. I internally screaaam when I see a lemon lime maranta. Its so rare and hard to get where Im from. Also congratulations on your new baby! 🌿🌿
You girl! Why do you always have the best plant tour videos on youtube?? I'm sooo addicted!! Love you tons ❤️btw I also killed my Peace Lily due to fungus gnats!! Do you still have gnat problems at home? I still see gnats flying around from time to time...so friggin' annoying :/
Lol! Thanks hun! After I thrown out the dead plants, the gnats never went away, so I'm used to living with them and having them fly around the apartment... lmao
I love these videos and knowing I’m not the only one here who freaks out when they find their dream plant! What is your favorite podcast on plants? I did not understand the full name thank you 🌿
Love your plant tours, I wish I could have all of the plants in my apartment lol! FYI: dracaena is pronounced dra-see-na. Keep up the good work Jolene!
True! Plants are very relative to where they are Located. In the Philippines, these Philodendrons, Monstera, Pepperomia, Aglaonema, Ficus, Calathea etc are very affordable. You are a sweet plantmum! Ive bingewatched your vlogs for 2 days now. Hahaha
I’m so glad I found your channel, these videos are awesome and relaxing to watch! I don’t even live in the US but these nursery tours make me want to go plant shopping there 😂
Plant you picked up that looked a succulent, is called a Peperomia string beans, I have one in a 6 inch pot. Awesome plant tour, and how special that the nursery owner gave you a free plant that you have wanted forever, it's so beautiful! I also laughed out loud, when you said I don't think it's a tittie cactus they don't look very big, hahaha, I love your sense of humor. Thank you so much Jolene and Josh, you are the best, love you see you soon.
Thank you for this nursery tour. I'm glad you mention the prices - helps to shop and compare as I live in LA and there are numerous nurseries with competitive pricing.
I´ve watched A LOT of plant shops videos and this is by far the most beautiful I´ve ever seen. If I would go in there I would come out with so many plants that I would have a serious problem 😂 So jealous that we don´t have places like this where I live.
You are so cuuuuute! 🥰🤗 The opening and The end Of The video its cute and beautiful! I Love videos like this, you at The nursery! Positive feedback, its ok and cool when your boyfriend talk to you and ask things! I like! Thanks for The vídeos! Congrats for editing! Kisses from Brazil 😘🌻🌱🌵
I have an alocasia polly I bought last summer..i still have them this summer.. I thought minds was going to die after I repotted it, it had 5 tubers that I repotted, I did not know they go dormant..wouldn't you know my tubers right now have there first leaf so excited about that. I didn't water the tubers in winter, when spring came around I started water them and now there here. The mother plant has gave me another leaf which don't have the old leaves, I'm happy!!!..what did you do with your tubers you planted? They were in dormantcy they should be coming up now after you water them.
Hi Jolene, Love your channel.. i can really learn from your videos... Can you please make a video on what plants are good for office lights... I have killed so many plants by taking them to office... Need your help...
I’ve learned so many names from this channel! Also I’m in LOVE with the N’Joy Pothos- I cant find a decently priced, not sick one where I live in WA state :(
I'm actually really shocked by the prices! I guess living in the tropics has its perks lol. I got my calathea rattlesnake the big size for $5 USD? The peperomia rosso I even got for free buying something else. Golden pothos as well, I snipped off alongside a train station. You can get a monstera your height for $40 here! Snake plants are a third of the price here.. and I got my lipstick plant for $7. It must be really terrible for you guys to lose a plant.. the double heartache. 💔 the trade off really for the tropics is we can't grow the temperate flowers like peonies. Grats on the dream philo! Hope to see a video update of him in his new home!
I love love this viido.such abundance. Here where i live we only have 2 small rows of plants So i really enjoy.this i want to get a pathos with the silver
