Many thanks to Magnum for all the great music over the years. This tremendous song appeared on the studio album Magnum II in 1979 and this version was recorded by Magnum at London's famous Marquee Club on 15 December 1979, which was released in 1980. All of my life, well some of my life anyway... Most of photos taken with my best mates in the now deceased Sunderland Mecca between 1983 and 1986. But there is one taken in 2009 showing us "all grown up" lol... I am wearing a silver and blue Magnum tour jacket in one and a Magnum "Sword of Chaos" silver neck pendant in another... Great days...I heard of Magnum in 1980/81 and finally saw them perform live in 1983. Other photos are album covers by Rodney Matthews, from some of my favourite albums back then. this was the first Magnum song i ever heard, they used to play it at a local rock disco when i was still at school. Still love it to this day. RIP Tony Clarkin, thanks for all the music

@@MAGNUM2F Saw them play 2 songs midweek live on a BBC2 evening TV programme, they stormed the show. Went out & bought the double single pack the following Saturday for £1.30. Still have it. Fabulous band.

yeah sadly magnum rarely play real old stuff anymore. last time I saw this live was in 1983. 2/3 years ago they also ceased playing KOM too

Thanks guys, great pictures and song. Truly also my mine and my mates lives. Brought the EP in 1979 and first saw Magnum at Reading 1980, great memory’s. Subsequently saw them many times, mainly at St Albans and Hammersmith Odeon.

great comment graham bro. yeah we lived them lives we did. incredible times and even though we enjoyed these times immensley its only now we appreciate how privileged we were to be around such incredible bands. the kids today have absolutely no idea!

@waywardsmile yeah girl, good for you. Magnum tried to 'break' america a few times-this could be the start lol! Have a listen to 'back to earth', 'just like an arrow' or 'the lights burned out' for some of Magnums early (ish) commercial sound!

@daspudster01 Leather???? we couldnt afford leather back then. they were PVC! They were cheap as hell and split every week. They were repaired using black duct tape! LOL. I still have a bit of a mullet and i am still stuck in the 80's. better times!
