This show is such an amazing classic! Clean and Fun for the Whole Family! Better than most of today's garbage primetime TV programming such as that garbage stupid dirty Station 19 show. Tom Selleck is a great actor in Magnum PI, Blue Bloods, and other shows. The 80s are the best!
Good morning, all true, as in almost all series of the time you can see how the dialogues are free of vulgarity and Magnum's narration methods during the films were an added value. Not to mention Higgins' aristocratic and biting comments. A series to be enjoyed with the family
Yes...the show originally had a completely different song intro...thank 🎵 goodness they realized that mistake quickly...and the rest is history as they say 😮....
Hey Buck .... did you start with the new Mill Creek blu ray or the UK version that has been out for some time? I'm nervous about the Mill Creek edition as it's 30 discs when the UK edition was 37.... have you compared?
Hi there, The reviews has been good, surprisingly, but im not sure if anyone has made a comparison video. Its been released on Blu-Ray 3 times now. But im happy with the UK version though. Every release has its flaws with some crossover episodes missing etc.
@@buckgreene6908 I purchased the Mill Creek set and A B'd them with the UK set... and shockingly the Mill Creek set (while it does cut the pilot into two episodes sadly) is WAY Better than our previous sets.. color timing is fantastic in comparison... richer skin tones.... skies... eyes... just blows away the previous set and on 7 less discs.. I can't understand how.

@@buckgreene6908 I saw that as well when I had visited their site, smart of them , why re invent the wheel! .... I'm letting go of my Fabulous set if you know anyone that needs one at a bargain price.
I have Magnum on Blu-Ray, wich is 1080P, so after copy the files to my computer, I use a software to upscale to 4K. So its not real 4K, only upscaled. But it looks good.
