The TV-version will always be MY Magnus. BUT, that doesn't keep me from adoring this one as well, A LOT! And this editing is awesome. :) R.I.P, Godfrey Gao. You won't be forgotten. :,(

Be proud of your editing skills! :) Godfrey's death broke my heart! (I still remember reading about it while I was on a vacation.) The world lost a wonderful person far too soon. :,(
@@anakotka5458 I liked both the series and movie magnus but definitely preferred the movie over the series because of jace and clary. That’s my opinion 😊😊. Is there only one movie??
Me too, i always pictured him with more of a bright clothing preference though just to make him not fit in so much with the other groups because i always saw him more interested in the human culture than the shadow hunters and the faye. The way the movie/tv show do jace doesn't fit in with my picture at all, mainly because i hate the slicked back hair, its not very "angelic".
If the movies would have been produced in order to continue the action from the books, Godfrey would have received the recognition he deserved for this character:his eyes showed the emotions that a guy who has lived centuries can have it, that pain, melancholy, but his heart remaining pure. He didn't have time to have an evolution and improvement, but if he would, I bet he would have shined. Harry had the whole time in this world to improve his acting and getting into the character better because he had the time to understand it. Godfrey did not. Both of them were great, but Godfrey is Magnus FOR ME (even if I respect and appreciate Harry a lot and he was so good in the tv show) because I portrayed a man like him when I was reading the books. RIP, Godfrey!
@@niteshkumar13878 No one say he didn't. I repeat, I love Malec and Harry's work, he was great. It is just a feeling that I have, I prefer Godfrey's Magnus because that's how I have imagined Magnus reading the books. ^^
@@niteshkumar13878 I have watched too the entire show, movie and read every novel Cassandra Clare wrote until now about SH's universe. 😁 It is just my feeling. I loved Magnus and Malec from the tv show, I just feel closer to Godfrey's Magnus because that's how I've imagined him while reading the books, before seeing the tv show. Again, it's only my feeling and the way I've imagined a character would be like in the real life, not a fact. 😁😁
The movie was very less malac... For me Harry will always be the best Magnus💜 but Magnus in the movie was also very amazing, hot sexy...so Magnus😍 they should've gave him some more scenes... Really feel bad that he's no more 😒😞 RIP💜
The movie was so so much better than the series, it was very accurate to the books too and this Magnus was on point. It's a shame really :( RIP Godfrey Gao
I know! I couldnt watched the series it was really bad and I did read all the books and I disliked how they put the characters in the serie! The movie was ok but didnt liked clary so much! Magnus was the best by Godfrey Gao!
But if you ignore the book and directly compare the movie and the series then imo the series is better. There's nothing much in the movie. Even in the movie Clace was kinda annoying but in the series, there were other couples that made it interesting.
@@DarkKnight-ty7mm that's true, and I'm not saying there wasn't good parts, I just feel like the movie was genuinely more on point to the characters than the series.
@@DarkKnight-ty7mm I actually enjoyed the books way more than the movie, but it was still ok, I hated the serie,and didnt liked the bad acting of lilly collins as clary! the clary in the serie was blonde :( jace is way better in the movie!
I absolutely adore Tv Magnus. Harry SJ is Magnus for me but it was unfair for movie Magnus. Because he has literally 2 mins of screen time and almost nonexistent scenes with Alec
