Wouldn't it be wonderful to see Magnus play someone like Paul Morphy, who chess prowess is historically unambiguous. If Magnus knew whom he was playing I'm certain that he'd rise to the occasion, but Paul Morphy would surely NOT be a trivial opponent. Potentially, what a game that might provide us!
The Morphy defense? Any one who has played chess for more than 10 minutes would call this a closed ruy Lopez. And what’s with the clickbait “here’s a step by step guide by Carlsen on how to play x opening”? It’s just him playing that opening and everyone knows that’s what it’s going to be because it’s a 7 min blitz game. Pointless clickbait.
