He is in the Messi, Djokovic, Tom Brady stratospheric area. Can’t think of any other goats, think about this Hikaru Nakamura has only beaten Carlson once in classical which is the purest form of the game, that’s how good he is because Hikaru is insanely good

These AIs, with their stilted delivery and bad pronunciation, ruin what could be excellent documentaries.

Why he stop depending his title after he stop his aportunity to become a goat is also stop there so the GOAT now is still gary Kasparov.
@user-ci9uh5mt7n
@user-ci9uh5mt7n 7 дней назад
He stopped playing Classical chess since he became unmotivated and it feels like no one was ever close to him give a thrilling and close match except Fabi in 2018, back in Kasparov's days he always had challengers and rivals that were close to him and considered rivals, Grischuk, Anand, Kramnik and Topalov and have a huge role in rivaling against Kasparov that's why he was very dominant but at the same time always faces with strong contenders for the classical match, even today Magnus is just too good and he is on a league of his own. Another thing is that Classical chess has simply died out because of how less exciting it is and it doesn't give Magnus anymore value so even if he wins again it doesn't matter his achievements speaks for itself and he has won almost every single tournament of his entire life as a GrandMaster even having a much higher rating than Kasparov, in the end Magnus doesn't have anything else to prove anymore as he is regarded as the best chess player of all time by many but of course there will always be Kasparov but he is still one of the greatest and that's already enough to prove that he has down everything and made a legacy just like Kasparov in their respective eras

@@user-ci9uh5mt7n he is afraid to lose his Title against fabi nepo ding naka and so thats why he is stop ther, he is not entitled to be the goat he is only a higher in ratings.
@user-ci9uh5mt7n

@@badboyphmusic Nah he's clearly not afraid to lose his title, he's always been willing to fight for it and have dominated Fabi, Naka, Nepo and even Ding for many years in classical even tho they were at their peak, at this point Magnus is more afraid to lose rating trying to gain rating by participating in many tournaments, you also have to remember that he stopped defending his title since classical chess had a mental effect on him and he didn't really enjoy life and was stressed out a lot, people change and now Magnus just wants to enjoy his life and he already achieved so many things even winning many prestigious tournaments like the World cup last year and the Norway chess championship which was owned by Nakamura last year, he has nothing left to prove to everyone therefore he is still one of the best of all time
