Commentator: He's winning ! Garry: Who is winning ? Commentator: White (Magnus) Gary: Black has 2 passers there, no way. Magnus: Hold my beer (throwing UNO reverse) !
With regards to the overall greatest the last half century, one may say changes over time gave Fisher, Kasparov and Carlsen. However, Kasparov not only recognized Carlsen very early, but laid aside ego for love of the game, training Carlsen. If Magnus Carlsen at some stage does the same, he may pass Kasparov, overall, everything of chess. It was extremely interesting listening to Kasparov pointing out acting on intuition as a feature playing fast. He mentioned four men, including Karpov, and then Cramling(!) Pia should take notice, not over-analyzing when in the win against world champions. (Loosing in Norway Chess, having time to over-analyze.)
Magnus just too good, still the strongest player on the planet. Gukesh is the future world champion for sure but while magnus is still around he as everyone else will always fall into second place. Magnus is truthly the greatest
