I recently finish The Sword of Summer and I just finish like a day ago The Hammer of Thor, and I just want to reread them so bad, but the TBR pile☹️

Blitz and Hearth were my favorite characters! I ship them so hard and I really hope they get together at some point in the series

This was actually my least favourite Rick book of them all. I'm not sure why, but I think it was a part of me being in a bad place at the time of reading + being Swedish with a interest in Norse myth. So it was a mixture between knowing what Rick was talking about (the gods, Valhalla etc) and not knowing what the hell was going on. But this video makes me want to pick it up again because there was some awesome moments and SAM!!! MY LOVE SAM I WANT HER IN EVERY BOOK and I LOVE the diversity Rick puts in his book. Lgbtq+ characters, every skin colour, no matter your "official" religion you can still belong in these ones. And I totally picture Sam as a younger Nadiya from Great British Bake Off and all the colourful hijabs they both wear. Oh Sam ❤️❤️

I loved this book!!! I love when Jack basically says like "yo u can take me back, but you are gonna pass out and probs die" Jack is probably my fav but it's so hard to choose just one!

I love the Magnus Chase series but it can be a bit heavy

When I first read this book, I didn't realize that Magnus and Anabeth were cousins until they blatantly told us, I'm not the brightest😂😂😂

I do have to say that one of my favourite moments in this first book were the meetings between Annabeth and Magnus throughout the story. Although they were very brief, I ended up getting a bit emotional just from reading them. And getting to know more regarding this particular mythology through Rick Riordan's writting was like a blessing of sorts. Also, Hotel Valhalla. I need to know more about this place! xD

It's weird not being able to ship Magnus and Sam, considering that Sam is betrothed to Amir and all that.

I'm so happy someone loved this as much as I did! Most people don't like it as much of the Olympian stories but I really enjoyed this.

The reason I'm attached to this book is because of MAGNUS' SARCASM!!! MY DREAM is to be just as sarcastic as Magnus Chase in life

The interesting thing is that magnus is the opposite of percy in both his personality and abilities where percy is arrogant sometimes violent and shown as powerful magnus is quite weak in terms of physical abilities and his powers work through pacifism and healing but they are both fiercely loyal to their friends which is a trait which connects them both

disney/marvel should do a spin-off series about this on freeform.

At the beginning of the hammer of Thor the message is to J R R Tolkien because Rick Riordan got into Norse mythology from him and that’s who got me into Norse mythology as well which was pretty cool

I got Magnus Chase for my Birthday because I adored The Hobbit's story. I think it is better than Harry Potter. To be honest I find HP to be an overrated Coming of Age story. People act like it is the only Coming of Age story to exist.
