Magnus is gifted no doubt. But the best thing he has going is his family. His dad in particular is exactly what every father should strive to be. Really inspiring
I started playing chess only because of magnus carlsen , I like his play style .for the people who is saying Bobby Fischer is great this is for u "magnus carlsen is the only player in the chess history till now do not take any advantage in opening yet he managed to win the most of the games and became world no .1.
Saying Magnus doesn't take any advantages in the opening is just wrong. Magnus is a very strong opening player, known to be very comfortable in the open Sicilian and London system. He certainly knows his openings and uses them to press the advantage. Fischer however was strongly against the determinative effect of the openings leading to him making a chess variant; Fischerandom or Chess960.
