@@ordinary_milkI guarantee you that he has woken up in the middle of the night after a dream about Magnus beating Hans in a game with 10 brilliant moves!! He woke up completely soaked and soiled

Magnus interview was a boring dud. Hans is clearly not cheating these days. Chess needs a rivalry like this. Good luck in Italy - so proud of you Levy!
9:50 That broke the fourth wall for me. I was waiting, in my room, for a loud mosquito to show itself so i could kill it before going to bed, and then Levy suddenly says "I think there's a mosquito in the room. Oh oh! That's bad." That was unexpected.
@enriquetrevino5141 you think they paid Wesley off for ratings or Hans is that much better than him? Wesley took Lazavik to school but got railroaded by Hans?
@@EliteCubingAlliancewesley maybe, mvl that's very wrong he's been on a long time decline as well as hans going no where but up, being one of the best players of the world he can definitely win a match against mvl from time to time
I do think Levy should make clear - as Danya did in his interview with Hans - that given how much scrutiny there is of Hans (heavy anti-cheat for OTB, in person proctoring here, etc), and how much he has played over the last two years, there is *zero* debate over whether he’s playing clean *now*. The only real question is whether he was fully honest about how much he cheated at age 16 (4-5 years ago now). And the fact that a lot of people (especially Levy and Hikaru) haven’t been *clear* to their audiences that his current play is clean means that when discussing the games of one of the most talented and entertaining players (in terms of chess - I actually don’t find the “heel” persona/antics entertaining) of this generation, you have to wade through a bunch of speculation, conspiracy theories, and anal bead jokes. Yes, the jokes were funny the first 20-30 times. But it’s time to move on now . . .
Who gives a fuck how much he cheated in the past as a minor on online games. I've never cheated in my life, don't really care for Hans, and love chess. But it doesn't matter to me that someone won a few games with an engine. It all balances itself out and he hasn't cheated otb or after becoming a chess professional. Never understood this witchhunt.
@@MarkosDGEAnti-cheating measures aren’t just for Hans, but were widely instituted after the 2022 controversy at major OTB events: broadcasts are on a c. 30 min delay (so if you have a cheating partner / automated stream sending you the moves, they won’t know what the current board is - only what it was 30 minutes ago), and most top events also have physical wanding of participants as well as wireless frequency detection and jamming equipment. So, even if you somehow get through wanding with a signaling device hidden on your person / up your rear, you’ll have a very difficult (read: impossible) time communicating without being detected.
Please don't say "self-explanatory" 23:05 I spent quite some time figuring out why that Rook was placed over there. I'm sorry I'm just a low-rated player I shouldn't have interrupted in this grand matches of GMs. But please explain, next time.

Pretty nasty of you to take shots at Magnus’ interview. Not to go deep into armchair psychology, but Magnus is back home by himself after recently losing his mother. As someone who has lost loved ones, this is what it looks like. Entertaining the plebs is hardly a priority for a man clearly struggling, so how bout you cut him some slack and be kind?
@@davidmasse2829 Because he literary told that he had very little sleep last night. Also that is how trauma works. Loosing parent is a traumatic experience
@davidmasse2829 Magnus Hikaru is a rivalry. Magnus Nepo is a rivalry. Magnus Ali and Fabi, rivalry. Only reason Magnus doesn't wipe the floor with Hans like he's done in every tournament they've played against each other is the trust factor. Hans name blew up only because of Magnus' claim of him cheating in St. Louis. Before that noone cared about Hans. Hans is using Magnus to get some clout because he knows he's never going to win any meaningful tournament, regardless of what he says. Magnus puts the kid to bed in Paris.
I’m not sure about the camera, but I feel like the quality used here in comparison to at your house is much better! Could be lighting but I’m quite unknowledgeable. Thanks for the vid!
Hans should use this ''bad boy'' reputation to his favour. It makes him more interesting to the audience, makes the chess scene more interesting and could help him in chess against his opponents. If I was him I wouldn't keep acting like the victim and just play with it.
I do wish you wouldnt spoil the end of the game. The only recap I watch is yours, and opening up a new vid and already seeing the result 2:30 in makes me not even want to watch the rest of the video....
I agree there’s some pressure with playing Hans, but I think he beat Wesley mostly because he’s a genuinly better blitz and bullet player. I mean, Hans is one of the top online players in blitz especially, he’s been in and around the top 3 chesscom blitz players for a while now, and So is at his strongest in classical (in my opinion)
I noticed with both MVL and Wesley, that they both were making shocking errors repeatedly. I couldn't believe my eyes seeing some of the mistakes that no GM let alone Super GM should ever make.
imagine being a literal teenager that has dedicated your entire life to chess, just to have your career completed ruined by the world chess champion with accusations without any proof just because you won against him, then having the entire internet believing him even though he has no proof, and THE ONLY INDICATOR that you may have cheated is because you cheated online when you were a 12 years old kid i completely understand why hans is the way he is lol
@@traviskraft9125 you`re so slow, "imagine cheating at something u dedicated ur whole life to", he was 12 at that point??? it wasn't his career and he probably didn't take chess as seriously (since he was literally not even a teen, he was a literal child, A 6TH GRADER to be precise lmao)
Hans brought up a good point where a proctor being in the room of his opponent might have been just as stressful and depending on the person even more so
Levy, this portable set up is actually somewhat better than your usual one. It is kind of smoother, feels that why. But Please, find a way to somehow hide the move list of the games as well as the graph.
Having watched Han's interview, he wasn't super eloquent. And the persona he's developed isn't for me, but it's hard to not sort of agree with him on "some" points. This all hit the fan when he was 19. Legally an adult, but get real have you met a 19 year old? Some folks pushing 30 hardly qualify as adults forget younger... That's not an excuse for him, especially if he's 100% guilty, but people don't magically grow up the minute they turn 18. That level of negativity from the media, the jokes, and one's peers at that age feels like overkill. Kids are kids. I broke more than some hotel furniture in my time. If he makes amends and keeps a clean act I'd hope everyone can move past the drama and "let the chess speak" lmao. He sounds corny, but I do actually appreciate the sentiment. Assuming that as an adult he's been innocent OTB/competitively like he claims.
27:14 Hmm I don't remember Magnus saying this: "If I play my best I think I'll win and I don't think it will be particularly close and this mosquito is trying to eat my leg"
As hans rises higher and higher it becomes more and more clear he was done extremely dirty by everyone in the chess world... And he was only a kid... Literally one of the most outright and clear cases of bullying all because magnus wanted to act like a brat. money was the only motive for the sheep, with no regard to the actual truth. history will eventually be on hans side as we come to realise just how awful you guys were to him. for no reason, he didn't do anything but act like your standard ego-driven teenager. honestly he's a chess hero imo
It's so cringe to see people call him a cheater because of what he did when he was twelve. How many embarrassing things did you do when you were twelve years old? I'm sure many people in these comments have done MUCH MUCH more embarrassing things.
I was imagining Levy watching Hans winning his match against Wesley and gleefully rubbing his hands together imagining all the content and the drama that was to come. I was certainly doing it myself.
I was absolutely cheering for Wesley to beat Hans. It was completely and utterly unfair that Wesley was not in the recent candidates competition. However, at the same time I was also thinking I would love to see Hans go through to fight Magnus and Hikaru. So although sad for Wesley, I am happy that Hans got through.
YOO THE VIDEO QUALITY IS PEAK good investement into the camera levy. pog We finally see a levy in HD. i might need to laser my eyes after this. ty for nothing.
I absolutely understand the burden and the pressure on Hans' shoulders, I am absolutely doing every I can to increase it, and would love to see him out of chess. He is dishonest, arrogant, physically destructive and libellous. If he were to become world champion, I would stop following chess.
A debt collector called me - so I swiped up to decline the call and then 1 second later you swat the fly and said I think there is a mosquito in the room. Dude that was epic!
There is a game where Magnus lost against rapport. I've not seen your analysis on it. Or maybe I missed it. Kindly point me to the link if I missed it.If not when should we expect the analysis 😢
