Magnus' only move was to move the King... Vishy would have brought his Queen to the corner putting him in check... forcing Magnus to move his King to the white square... Vishy would then move to put his Bishop to check Carlsen... only move for Carlsen is the dark square... Vishy then moves with the Knight and puts him in check with Carlsen's Queen exposed... Carlsen moves the king but the Knight still exposes the Queen and is blocked with the pawn.. Vishy takes Magnus' rook... decision time... he's still down a major piece in the game! Does he move the Queen or let Vishy go with a rook! He had no moves left without losing a major piece (possibly his Queen)...
