He got knocked out at MW, where he was well and truly drained by the weight cut, by an actual kickboxer. Not some wrestler in the UFC who has fallen in love with his hands over the last few years. Him trying to strike with Jan is the reason the fight was a draw and why he should’ve lost. Got handily out struck for 2 and half rounds before resorting to lay and pray.
Stop lying. Ankalaev outboxed Jan in round 1. Round 2 and 3 it was even in boxing but the leg kicks crippled him, but he came back strongly with his wrestling and won the championship rounds including a clear 10-8. It's obvious as daylight that Jan lost that fight and that draw was unfair.
