Magpie Trap that works! It works with or without a call bird. Very effective!!! Go to www.magpietrap.com for more information. Will ship anywhere in Canada or USA.
@Paul Flusk yep same over here, some of the seagulls species are threatened so all get protected. absolute flying rats, magpies never cause problems the same way
i love magpies n all corvids, nvr a problem at all with them where i live, extremely intelligent, thoughtful birds from my observations, just confused by why u wld wana trap or kill thm?
First of all, the trap is a "live trap", and does not injure the bird at all, so they can be released in a different area totally unharmed. Secondly, they are a scavenger, and meat eater. They do not care if their food is alive or dead. Livestock producers tend to have very little use for them.
Paul Smolinski ty for ur reply, the reason i said 'kill' is coz i saw someone mention shooting thm with an air rifle below in the comments. im glad dat tis a 'relocation' device. i understand wot ur sayin bout livestock etc. ive noticed dat if magpies get given food thy dont attack other birds etc. however if thy dont get handouts thn thy have to eat somehow so guessing anything is on da menu lol. Neway once again ty 4 replying means alot to me, im a animal lover so tis nice to kno dat the mags are not harmed. have a wonderful easter friend 🐥🐤🐥
Paul Smolinski u better make these magpies sailors bro. no release; otherwise u will harm other people in the area u release them. u know what i'm talking about. i hunt them,i trap them, i do whatever i can to destroy them. they are pure evil killing all the singing birds around my house! there is no life after these basterds!
Love it - had 38 from 1 Larsen since 1 st May - it’s annoying when the first trapped bird sets the other door shut.Apart from that there a brill way of reducin maggies.
Hi Dave, Glad the trap is working for you. If the first trapped bird is setting off the other compartment, the triggers are very likely too sensitive. If you have a power miter saw, you could try "squaring off" the wood triggers and make them a bit less sensitive.
Trap works most months, however it does not work very well during the colder temps (anything below about -10C). This video is mostly spring and summer captures, but there are some fall captures as well : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-57LFzAs7xVo.html
