I'm relieved to see so many new offerings coming from Magpul. I was worried you guys stagnated and decided to rest on your laurels. Looking forward to seeing more 😀
@@Peterkass235 nope, my own homebrew. 18" Criterion chrome lined heavy barrel, inconel gas tube, 15" midwest suppressor sized mlok rail for additional airflow space. Should be lighter and just as capable, and cheaper lo
Wow.... This is GREAT! Nice products so far, gents! This is why we love Magpul. Was torn between B5 Precision and PRS Lite... This is exactly what I want for my Aero M5E1 and 18" SPR plinker.
I use Magpul products as well, have been for decades. The magpul stock with the lock, CTR, was disappointing. My old Vltor IMOD club foot is a tighter fit. And I've beat on it since 2012.
As an April fools joke, you should make a video of your “new and improved stock” but just showcase that generic collapsible stock that’s been out forever, like the PSA classic M4 stock. Then go over the blandness of it, like it’s the latest and greatest.
Umm, Shot Show is next week... does no good to wait until the show is already half over to announce your new products. How do you expect any media to know about them and come to your booth to cover them?
This stock came out just in time for my next build. I hope it doesn't wobble like the other moe stock did. Bravo and MFT have tight fitting carbine stocks, Magpul should too...
The M LOK sling slot is GENIUS! You can put whatever you want on there and it keeps cost down. If it breaks you simply by a new MLOK attachment. So smart
KILLING IT with all these releases. Magpul on the pulse as always. Now…. Drop your furniture in MCT. Please. FDE is amazing but I need that coyote tone.
Neat you’re working on some new products. I don’t feel that 11.2oz without a buffer tube is lightweight though, that’s already quite the weight penalty 😢 I’ll stick with my CTR or MFT for now.
When did y'all decide that the CTR riser wasn't designed for the AR? After the charging handle smashed into it? Nice attempted cover up on that mistake.
Yeah when the DT came out and I read the description on the riser product page I was like: “has this always been here?” Maybe it has maybe it’s new, but the fact is it has always been a problem, hence why the larue riser exists and modern risers mount on the back of the stock That said they claim these were designed for EBR-14s with buffer tubes so your head position was right but then why would they make so many heights? It doesn’t really make sense but if you cut it and or pull you stock far enough out it’s fine
Y'all getting that wobble and rattle fixed? Or is that a design feature? I hope there's going to be a CTR PR option soon with better lockup and QD mount included.
Before introduce new precision product, maybe you will finish and fix what yoh already have - magpul pro folding stock is shacking, i contacted your representative and was tild its fine - its not for precision chassie, or dont claim that is precision.
How will it handle with LEO and Combat Arms Service Members? Looks like it would be beating against mags on a chest rig/plate carrier. And for those roaming in the woods, I can see a bunch of sticks going through that opening causing issues. And mud/dirt getting caked in the bottom/side cut.
I've got the PRS lite and which has basically the same opening and I haven't had any issues with it. Honestly it makes a great hand hold for passing it up a ladder or over other obstacle.
I like it but a bit heavy in my opinion. it does have some nice features, like the added m-lok. However still lacks some key features, as compared to other viable options on the market. such as better weight saving, wider cheek weld for AR platforms, anti rattle mechanism, and multiple sling mount positions. Just my opinion. maybe a 2nd gen will be better
@@toddb930that’s just not true, for example they offer versions of their slings in various configurations so you don’t have to buy separately, this particular stock is the way it is so they could make it simple, one hole that can do QDs or have a sling ran though it, easily configurable by the user Also they ship daka block with their cases and grid systems just as another example of them not making you pay for everything separate
@@MatthewC176 -- I recently ordered a sling for a SIG Tread and chose a model that included the attach points. It comes with a Magpul stock and SIG hand guard. The sling was $60 but to attach it to the Magpul stock and SIG hand guard I had to buy an adapter for each end. That added $40. (SIG likes to use the option/accessory model too). So, I got a usable sling for $100.
@@toddb930 bruh, that’s on you, the slk and slm have no in built qd too say light and allow a sling to go though with the space available You picked a stock and handguard without QDs not on magpul
My stock came in today and I’m very disappointed. It’s sooo wobbly!!!! I used the MOE SL before and now it’s like I’m using some cheap airsoft stock :(
So you wont fix your zhukov stocks, you won't make ak 556 followers for your 74 mags, you wont make ak 556 mags- but you'll rehash concepts that have already been done to death like a translucent magazine or a bastardized ctr stock?
I'm not a fan of the look.🤷♂️ I was gonna put a m-lok sling mount on one of my standard AR15 mil spec stocks. I was going to mill out a tiny bit of stock to accommodate the sling mount. Its crazy that I was thinking about doing it and Magpul makes this new stock capable of doing that.
a version of the p mag that has a slightly different geometry to fit in some odd ball eurotrash rifles, arx and f2000 etc. magpul made them for a while but then stopped so they are hard to get collector magazines now@@msquared9605
Y'know with all that contract money, you'd think Magpul wouldn't skimp on a proper VA for their ads instead of some AI model that can't even say the product correctly. I just know the phrase "Nobody will be able to tell" was slung around the marketing dept. countless tines.
Literally never heard this take before, I don’t think it’s AI, too high quality and genuine, they’d be spending more money on that then just paying a dude or getting an employee to voice it, not to mention AI wouldn’t say a word like product wrong, a human would
@@rtz549 I don’t, most people don’t, “mow” is much easier off the tongue than M O E and if this wasn’t the way magpul intended it they’d make the AI spell it out 🤦♂️
@@MatthewC176 I don't mean this is a dickish way, but I can earnestly tell you that you have an untrained ear. There are certain cadences and tones tied to organic speech that are evidently lacking in the voiceover. The break in speech of a singular sentence at 0:22 ("features include a rest. on the leading edge...) cemented it for me. That is very noticeable error in the speech pattern of what should be one contained statement. It's a minor nitpick on its own, but its part of a compounding issue if you're like me and expect (something what should be the bare minimum) integrity of a company's advertising if I'm expected to shill out money for products.
