Mahavishnu Orchestra - Lotus ( Live on BBC) 

Returning back to the World after surviving my combat tour in Vietnam, I experienced these vibes at the Orchestra's Saint Louis, Missouri concert. Sure helped.

Jerry Goodman. Great sound and immaculate technic. And style , imagination.

Pure beauty. (Actually, "A Lotus on Irish Streams").

'Lotus on Irish Streams' was on the classic album 'The Inner Mounting Flame' which had songs about various spiritual states, ranging from Intensity and Aspiration, like 'Meeting of the Spirits' and 'Noonward Race' to songs like Lotus which are inner peace or Quietude.

Three of a perfect pair.

Just discovered this channel (subscribed)! What I would really like to know is, what ever happened to "The Dance of Maya" which was part of this performance when it was first aired in 1972 on the BBC but mysteriously disappeared in subsequent repeat broadcasts, and has never surfaced on RU-vid? Will this mystery that has puzzled me for almost 50 years ever be solved?!!! :)
