I also have the 1635. Mine is the shuttle version. So far (new last year) it has been excellent. I use it to move round hay bales, feed in winter, rake hay in summer, clear driveway snow, mow pastures, spread manure, etc. No heavy dirt work so far. It should last a long time the way I use it. Also it starts very easily in winter cold weather. I'm very happy with it.
I'm glad you've had a pleasant experience with your 1635. My experience has not been so good. In less than 50 hrs, the rear wheel fell off, two hydraulic lines have burst, the starter failed, the hydraulic system became aeriated.
Thanks for taking time to watch the video, they are great machines. I had to choose between the cab and backhoe. That doesn't sound like that bad of a deal
Recently worked a grapple installed at time of pick up. 40k for everything. Hoping it turns out to be a good machine, only time and work will tell. Biggest selling point for me is the common rail diesel. No emmisions 🤙
@Mello Man that's awesome. I think a grapple would be super handy. Not having emission stuff is great. One of my favorite things I didn't realize I needed was the clutch on a hst. It's saved me a couple times already.
@Mello Man best I can tell is it easier on shifting between ranges and engaging the pto. But the real bonus is as a extra safe gaurd if you lock up a tiller or a brush chopper.
Yeah I've been really impressed with mine also. My only complaint is the fuel filter location. I'm coming up on 400 hrs and I'm dreading changing the fuel filters again.
