Good morning Sir, good job with the maintenance. That is a crazy price for that strainer. Make sure to do a final leak check, a cold check once the engine and fluids have completely cooled. That is when everything contracts and if anything will leak it will be then. Now that your tractor is back up and running you have to do work again. Keep up the good work. The new filter was expensive, nearly as much as a litre of fuel costs over here :-) Great tip about adding an O ring to the breathers. Good maintenance and it is great to see the tractor back in action. The weather looks great with you, it is warm here too at the moment

Hello Dave, is that a little bit of snow I see in the background? ......just kidding! Some bad engineering in that part. I find that with some well-made equipment, there are always a few badly designed parts for some reason. My new walk-behind trimmer is well made except for the cheap Mickey mouse switch that looks like it was made in high school shop class. ( Later video) I will be phoning Echo Canada soon about it. Great that you have your buddie going again Dave. Was wondering if you should have filled the hydraulic filter maybe half full before putting it on. Same with engine oil filter.
Good Morning Sir, thank you very kindly for your OUTSTANDING Support and kind words 😉👍👌 I never ever did fill up my oily filter before installing it since it always a messy process, I rather install it dry then start the engine ( leak check ) for a few seconds and then do the final top up !!! Did 300 000 km on my Diesel Jetta ( last time that I check it was past 400 000 km ) , 320 000 km on my Corrola and still going strong, 200 000 on my Dodge Ram Van B 350 ( still running on the road last time that I check ) an many more vehicles that I did the same !!! An also any Diesel or Gas engines can run no problem with less oil as long that you can see it on the dip stick but DO NOT over fill it ( that is not good at all !!! ) and that applied also for the hydraulic systems. Bonjour Dave!!! Tjis wa a verty expensuive repir eh. The klast time I changed my transmission oil I stripped the drain plug for the transmission. I got a Time Sert thread repair kit and made very nice repair, but it was over $300 for the kit!!! Ouch. Very noce procedures for maintaining the tractor Dave. You sure are the "Le Maître de l'Entretien" A la prochaine mon ami!!!

I feel your pain about the pollen. This year is really bad here, as my truck has a thick layer of yellow pollen every morning. Wow, that’s a pretty steep price for a part that is poorly designed and made from inferior material. Be safe mon ami 👍🍻😁

Bonjour M Larivière, je vous remercie pour vos encouragements et de vous avoir abonné a mon humble channel 😇👌 Le livre n'est pas claire, mais le point rouge est la limite minimum et la petit bulle d'air une fois remplis est la limite maximum. La différence est environs 2 litres. L'important est de respecté la capacité maximal soit de 13.5 litres. Oui en effet porté très attention au trop fragile oil strainer !!! Even with the added cost of the broken part, you still saved a lot of money over paying the dealer to do the work. You probably saved quite a few of us from making the same mistake, too!

Yes I have that occurring sometimes, when the HST transmission is cold or the tractor pushing pulling ( I do have the counter weight ). I did however adjust the tensions on the spring under the floor ( you will see it ) by pushing the pedal and I did oil the pine how old the pedal mechanism ( I wish that I will exist a grease zurk ). It is like when I engage on desengage the 4x4 to 2x4 I life the front axel with the bucket and it work like realy smooth 😇👍👌 Thank you again Sir Cheers 🍻
Good day Sir, Yes but that O ring on both vent cap( on the front diff and the transm ) and you will see that is no longer leaking. I have many persone doing it and It fixe their leaking problems cause by poor venting ( pressure built up !!! ) Thank you again Sir Cheers 👍👍👌👌🍻🍻

I just completed (well, almost) the 50 hr service on my Mahindra eMax 20, However, I was unable to remove the Hydraulic filter, it is completely stuck, any sugestions on how to get it off?
Good Evening Sir, Thank You Very Kindly For Subscribing To My Channel. Yes mine was very well glued too ( first time ) and very hard to removed too. I put light oil ( loose nuts ) on the gasket and I went to buy a big oil filter pliers removal with teeth and going back and forth the oil was starting to go between the gasket and the paint of the transmission case. if you ever have to ending up and aiming toward the classic ( using a screwdriver going trough the oil filter ! ) be very careful go toward the end of the filter case not near the transmission. ( 🚧🚧 PLEASE BE VERY CAREFULL with the filet strainer bolt !!! Very Expensive to change, I broke it on the video !!! 🚧🚧 I hope that will help, slow win the race Sir. Cheers 🍻🍻
Thank you for the answer, why they spray over the filter is quite puzzling to me, but I just ordered a set of oil filter pliers, so with a little bit of luck I should be able to get it off next time. Also, thank you for all the great info you put out there, I have learned a lot from you and your tractor videos, they are by far the best ones I have found, keep up the good work.

Good Morning Sir, mine is a 2018 and they still are not install but when I discover that with out an o ring, the pressure was building up inside the front differential and the rear HST transmission. hello, i just emptied my front Axle fluid and filled it. however it was only able to take no more than 1.75 litre when it recommends 2.5 litre. I a confused. i ran it for 5 mins and now i will let it sit for a bit and recheck. Any thoughts on this.
Good day Sir, thank you very kindly for Subscribing to my channel 👌😉👍 Ok, you need to open the top screws on each side of your wheel hubs. I forgot to mention it on my video and that will allow the air to escape on each side. Do make shure that you are level and do not forgot to add an o ring on your yellow screw dip stick. Yes you can go a very short ride ( 1-2 min ). That will help greatly. but make sure that you are not overfilling it. Please do keep me inform about it. Cheers 🍻🍻
