Awesome driving. 👍Reminded me of when we crossed 2-3 river streams through forest in mahindra jeeps ( water reached inside almost knee level ) to reach a huge waterfall called dudhsagar near goa , india.
What made you go with the lunchbox lockers vs OX or ARB? I have heard negatives about going with lunchboxes up front. I still have open diffs so interested in the opinion. Also sounds like your power steering belt needs to be tightened! :)
The cost to put these lockers in the front and rear is 750 bucks. The cost to go with selectable lockers is quite a few thousand because you also should upgrade your axles while you're at it and hell throw in a full floating rear. So 1 reason cost. 2nd reason is I might be doing an axle swap and go with American made. It's easier to get parts for American made products. Your correct on the belt.
That was pretty cool, but your dog was getting juuuuust a little to close at times for my comfort. Back in the 80's my friend lost his dog while out off roading, and I've been paranoid ever since. What is the set up you're using for your hi lift jack set up? It looks like it holds an ax and shovel too?? Keep up the great work.
The transfer case is a derivative of the old Jeep t18, which was twin stick. This one is too but it is set up as a single stick. You can eliminate the pin that holds the two rails together to get it back to twin stick like the original. That will allow you to run 2 low, for example.
Cool man, but why folks expose their dogs to that is beyond me; couple of times it was right behind you as you were doing that forward and reverse thing. Another time it was trying to fit in the same rut with your spinning driver's rear, and THAT'S not cool, at all.
