I am not sure. They aired them up more because they wanted them to seat and stretch to the wheel before I lower the pressure. But I'm not one to play with air, I would rather a stiffer ride than worry about blowing it off the bead and be stranded.
That and a definite lack of wheel speed..... Not my ride or video..... But definitely could have went further with locker's and or a don't give a fk driving style 🤣
Don't think you need to appease the side-by-side community of the purpose for which this thing is built for since this is in a totally different category all' together. There'll always be jackasses comparing ponnies to horses without actually having a purpose for either. Excellent farm and outback equipment, enjoy and put it to good use.chears 🍺 and ohyes it does look a million bucks just the way an off-roader should be.
love the ROXOR buddy! Next time carry a boat Anchor or spare tire, and sledge hammer to bury in the field and hook up the winch, should save you the walk to grab the Cummins!
I like them bc they’re more of what I think a jeep should be. Plus it looks like a work horse. Granted I’d like mine to be street legal (if I decide to get one). I’m sure you know this but you can get lockers both front and rear for them now also. That would make them pretty dang tough.
Great video! That was some gnarly mud, I don't think lockers would have saved ya. I get what you mean about Jeep vs SxS, I think it's in it's own category- I think it's more Jeep than anything FCA("Jeep") offers!
10:28 I have used t-posts in situations like this before. When I didn't have anything to hook on to. You have to be gentle with them and it may take several tries but it can work, also you have to pull them when you are done. And you need ones with spades. I don't mean the posts on your fence; obviously.
I like your Roxor and really like your bumper. Wondering where you bought your rear bumper. I like it and would like one to go on my 2022 Roxor that I just bought.
What made you buy that machine, you could easily buy a Sami or a jeep yj for 2k and after another 2k you will end upon 35s, regeared axels, and lockers, plus the most important thing is you can drive a jeep on the freeway, at least on my state the roxor can only go on roads under 35mph,
Not for what it was designed for. Mud boggin ain't what its actually designed for it is meant as a farm/utility rig. Load er down with tools and lumber and go fix some shit on your ranch. It's a work donkey that can be used as a toy as well
Ok. So... Why did you go get the truck?? Otherwise yeah they are cool as hell. Finding lockers or LSD diffs might be a challenge unless you swap the axles, or roxor offers something. I haven't seen the video of your lift. But I wold flip the axles to under the leafs.
4L should send traction to all four but in the video it doesn't seem to be. If it's lockers that you need then I reckon you'll not need a winch. Happy cleaning though 😊
I noticed you free wheelied your winch-cable out, ever have any issues engaging the winch? Have two different Warn winches and they are very difficult to re engage, and they were like that from new.
No sir I have not had an issue yet. It works kind of like anything else mechanical to my knowledge though. Basically if you cant engage it, just pull the cable a little more to catch a gear and it should lock in at some point. If that makes any sense... but if you have tried that then I'm sorry I dont know what else to suggest
I'm surprised that your actually know about axles and lockers. Most ppl make there vehicles look good and get them stuck and have no clue about traction aides.
This was more so a demonstration than trying to prove anything, and sadly the front yoke/joint in the front axle is weak on these. Too much of the fun stuff will twist them
Not Jeep fans that want these gone it’s Jeep as in FCA. These are interesting to me but the fact I can’t throw a plate on it and drive it on the road legally in my area is a bummer.
Obviously mahindra is Indian, but aren't these assembled in Michigan? So US designed vehicle produced in India and assembled in the US.....ok then. Lol. Even sounds like a tractor. Love it.
Like the Roxor. But think the vids might be better with less explanations. Just do what you do we will pick up on it or the Mississippi ppl will ask questions in comments 🤷🏻♂️
STUBS 1960 number one huh? What else are you going to copy and build with cheap labour? (Asking for a friend) lol, just kidding, you obviously have a good sense of humour. The whole idea of the roxor is excellent, yes it's a "jeep" but putting the diesel in it and making it small enough to go where side by sides go was marketing genius. I don't think I'll ever own one unless I can find one cheap, used. Don't own a side by side either, I have a f150 with one ton drivetrain, about $1000 into it total.(I'm cheap) but yes, I agree, I'd take a roxor over a side by side every single time.
I cant believe it has a open rear diff from the factory it should come with a locked rear end or at least a air locker or something that's kinda dumb in my eyes... still like the vid
