Glad to see you back finally! It doesn't matter what brand of vehicle you buy new, they all have their own problems. Once you iron out all the bugs, I'm sure you'll enjoy your new S11! Good choice with opting for the tray instead of a tub, the ability to set up things the way you want is much better. Thank you for being honest about the problems that you've had with your Mahindra, I know it can be quite disheartening when things don't go to plan but once things are sorted out, you'll have a great vehicle to take wherever you want to go. I look forward to seeing what you do to setup your S11, all the best!
Great to see you got the beast back! When I saw that you were selling it previously my jaw dropped. If Mahindra pick up the slack on their dealers and supply of both vehicles and parts I could see myself having one. Keep us posted on how it goes, I hope the best for you!
Fingers and toes crossed for you, I hope it all works out and you keep the little mahindra. I love mine and after watching you RU-vid video on fraser island we have decided to take the long road trip from Melbourne to check out Fraser.
Thank Matt much appreciated ! Enjoy you will have a ball! Your Mindy It’s so capable give yourself a good week be sure to do the Ngkala rocks and the cape it’s insane!
Pedders assures you it'll be fine once you blow serious cash on it! No way! In all seriousness, hope the issues are gone now. It's a great car for the money.
Thanks Ben much appreciated! I guess they were talking about the wheel alignment shims and suspension readjustment- to clarify I always wanted a lift I was going to do the red car - however I asked them because of all this work is it worth doing the lift now - I explained I was very close to moving it on they just said even without the lift they we’re confident the car would be fine with all the adjustments - so I tossed up as Mahindra was already paying for that - I thought pretty seriously about it and thought well it could save me a bit of money with all the labour etc I just paid for the equipment- I’m hoping it’s worth it now it’s a gamble but I don’t know 🤷♀️ see what happens. Pedders have been brilliant I have been getting quotes off them for both my cars they really helped me out can’t speak highly enough of them.
@@bravohotel so far big difference to my old cat the shockies and lift are so much better car is driving a heap better can’t believe the difference I’m now close to 5000 km no issues now so I’m hoping it’s all been ironed out and if it’s anything like my last one it gets better with more driving. I’m feeling a lot more confident and happy with it now … time to get her kitted out fully so excited 😆 I tell you the lift is amazing for the truck so much better than my red one it was so low to the ground this one’s clearance is super! Get one you’ll get addicted to it - it’s a whole lot of grunty truck fun
I like the Mahindras but I'm on a supr-tight budget, so went with a 2nd hand V6 Courier and have built it up from a junker to a near new (mechanically) vehicle.
Thanks Shawn I thought being new that would not be a problem it was the way it was pulling me off the road that was the problem needed to be done I was only getting 600km to the tank as well and my tyres would of taken a beating as well I guess I don’t know a heck of a lot about cars so that’s reassuring cheers
Keep it, sounds like the issues you had hopefully were only one off's. Give it maybe 5k & see what happens . Rare for stuff to go wrong, but at least you appear to have ended up with a good result
Thank you! Yeah a positive definitely out of a negative the lift and suspension upgrade from pedders have been fabulous went in the other day for a 600km check they are happy with it so am I - no further problems just hit 4.5km and I’m falling back in love with it just need my canopy and RRT I have the fit out so fingers crossed 🤞
Hi, can you elaborate on the issues? So far these sound like bad installation of accessories by the dealer not really the car itself having issues. Tray back is always going to be more bouncy without weight. Is everything going ok now? I am considering to buy one but there does seem to be many little issues
Jeremiah I think your bang on - I think I was a Guinea pig - the dealerships have to now fit their own Mahindras and I think it was a learning curve with mine unfortunately, the wheel mal alignment I’m not sure about however it’s all been sorted thankfully and I have also got pedders to do a lift whilst they were there, happy to say it’s driving so much better need to put a canopy on to help with the tray. I will be keeping it now I think I’m over the issues now in the beginning she has been going so much better even on fuel - I’m so thankful mahindra had to get pedders to fix it, defs turned things around. We have the S6 too. Honestly they are fantastic trucks I think my issues were teething issues from the dealership learning how things go etc. I’m getting heaps better fuel now too 800-850 to the tank so that’s how bad the wheel alignment affected my fuel
They said it was aligned but the steering wheel was not straight . Mahindra didn’t charge me for the Wheel alignment they paid pedders to fix it which was good 👍
@@Yeaahization loving it now she has been sweet since she had her pedders makeover I think it’s time to kit her out nearly up to 5000km now and no more issues yippee 🙌 have to say that lift is super! Front looks grunty and it looks and feels beasty
Yep was covered under warranty so pleased with pedders they did a awesome job - I did pay for the lift equipment and they fitted while doing all the other work - they didn’t really say how that all occurred happened? I query the bull bar mounting
