Some observations: 1. Rear door glass panel looks like it is a temporarily fitted to hide the intended full door. 1:56 Rear glass panel is not aligning fully with the shut lines. You can easily see that the high-stop light is now on the hard top instead of a plastic bit stuck on the glass panel, which may indicate a full size rear door. 2. Power window switches have moved to the doors. 3:05 3. Still no climate control, maybe this one's a base model. 3:05 4. Roof and presence of a proper roof-lining suggests it is not a plastic hard top, instead a full metal hardtop. 5. No sunroof (again maybe base model)

But happy to see Armada like 5 door version of thar.. much needed.. n hope Mahindra will be able to deliver their cars quickly.. all my friends who booked Mahindra have cancelled and taken other options due to their unrealistic waiting period..

OmG! Finally you guys sneaked, snapped and shared the new upcoming Thar 5 door. Thank you and I love you guys❤! After 3 years, I finally caught and tested the current Thar, totally worthy and loving it. Due to my big family, I required practicality and more convenience especially older ones. So I’m eagerly waiting the 5 door version. Probably it would name TharX or Armada. But Mahindra would add the Xenon lights on That R rather fitting extras to avoid warranties. And thank god! They read my mind that they fixed the armrest in front. On the exposed tank underneath, that’s the Adblue tank. Although, I hate Adblue system which doesn’t work sometimes and makes faulty for every other brands and difficult to rectify it. But this, OH NO! They should relocate it in engine bay or upper side of the fuel tank. While going Off-road it will easily crack the tank and pump unit. Again thank you so much for sharing this news. Waiting to see and owe one. Cheers!

Thar 5 door isn't gona workout until the BIG DADDY SCORPIO is still there in the market because a person who loves THAR and do like to do some offroading wouldn't even think about practicality and a person who is practical just ignores thar and go with the SCORPIO which give better ride quality , space , comfort and a bit of luxury compared to thar In this case Mahindra is making this vehicle only for a specific people's ( who are hardcore thar fans who can't convince their family about buying thar and meet the practicality)

Thar 5 door 2WD, will probably be the most demanded product in 2023 for Mahindra.

Waiting for 5 door... Back in the days me and dad both wanted to buy Armada but couldn't.. Bought a used Sierra but sold it soon due to high maintenance cost. Really waiting for new thar 5 door. I heard the seating of 3 door Thar is not good for long drives.. Any idea?

today saw this being tested in coimbatore. they have removed the rear spare wheel and had an some box was attached there must be some testing equipment. i agree it just looks like thar. hardly the additional length was noticeable.
