Please continue your honest reviews like this. You are the only one who talks about negative points of every car honestly. Other reviewers always praise about positive points and try to avoid negative points. Even if they speak about negative points, they make it sound like very minor. Looks like they always try to get in to good books of manufacturers to get better treatment for future releases of cars.

Gagan I drove the new thar extensively on and off road, and I own old thar 2019 model on which I have toured India extensively. My thar is completely stock and few points I would like to add on both Thars. Older version was devoid of all gizmos which are of no use in practical world and very complicated to replace repair in field conditions. Older thar is very capable vehicle in which I have covered 1000kms in a day comfortably day in day out without any problems. Mind it I am over 5decades in age. Thar is my primary vehicle. Rear seat is never been used so I can't comment. Engine is superlative and I generally cruise at 80/90km on highways and vehicle returns 15/16km to litre. Last year in peak summer of Central India I did not switch off the engine for 13hrs plus in daytime and covered 700kms plus just to check how much stress mechanical parts can take. Temperature was 45degrees plus at any given time. I have covered Chandigarh Secunderabad number of times with basic breaks enroute. Old thar is extremely capable on non existent roads. In concern to repair, just running repair wit oil change periodical. I have driven it over 60k in 18months. Now in concern to new Thar, I was very lucky to drive it during it's testing time starting of year . One thing I can say the rear seat is same in concern to comfort level as old thar even it being car like. Ingress and outgress is extremely difficult for rear passengers. Suspension of vehicle is more tuned to road, unfortunately the Mahindra to please both off roader and city cowboys could not get it right as in both scenario suspension does not satisfy and give confidence on road and off road. New thar is filled with all novice gizmos which are of no use in real world and down the line will be extremely prone to failure and difficult to repair. I would like to add I found hard top not that rugged as in no time it turns white and starts rattling . It is not also completely sealed as what on expect car like sealing. Yes Water does get inside during washing. The rubber beading is pathetic and will loose it's suppleness in no time and will hang down especially the rear door one. In highways one can cruise at 80/90 and over it, it does not give confidence. Front seats are miles ahead of old thar. Off road capabilities are no way near old thar, worst case is having 18inch rims as fitment. Reason, such big tyres extreme stress on independent suspension and it can snap in no time. Mahindra has made new thar to entice urban yuppies. I drove new thar for few days, yes I can say it is head turner, but if I have to travel to some extreme place on earth I would prefer Gypsy as first choice and old thar as second choice. Unfortunately Indian consumers are more swayed by what vehicle can do on paper and not in real life . Moreover one night auto experts jump in bandwagon and totally sway the mind of customers. The credentials of them is debatable at any given time. Average Indian needs a vehicle which can last at least 5/7 years as major chunk of hard earned cash goes into buying vehicle. Supposedly auto experts only give short term positive and negative which hold no value down the years in ownership of vehicle. If one wants vehicle with utter reliability, go for vehicle with no fancy frills. I know people around you will not like it and find all flaws in it, but on other hand you can be sure ,,you can be anywhere on plannet earth, the vehicle will help you to reach safely home. On the other hand, vehicle with all frills and supposedly modern does not instill confidence when chips are down and one is miles away from safety of home. More moving parts more complications. I feel new thar is excellent vehicle on paper ,but in real world it does not instill confidence which is required from a jeep in long run.

Hi there! Have been a regular viewer especially about THAR Now that you have driven a 600km aged Thar, a few questions: ● Did you notice any rattling of the Hard Top? ● Water percolates? ● There's a continuous mist formation with the AC on on the windscreen?

The most sensible automobile channel when he runs on 120km Rest of channel are showing rash driving and I don't know why police don't take legal action when they have legimate proofs That's the india good people are arrested and bad / criminal are just chilling

I love this Car. If I ever go to buy this one ,it would be just to have some lifestyle added to my garage. Not for the practicality, luggage space, long distance, moving down off the fence of my neighbors front yard etc (not intended though ;))... or a daily commute. No cities are now drive worthy if you are talking about metros, not matter what you drive. Fr that I am happy with my 2 wheelers. To me it would be perfect for I, my +1 and my 3 dogs who will enjoy a cruze around 90-100 kmps on a Sunday to a Bfast joint, with top down, if the weather allows. Not making any more sense to its utility and existence, just enjoy the ownership.

The self drive car rental company ZoomCar is not paying refund to their customers since 8 months, Security deposit and fuel expenses(with fuel booking) are to be refunded by them to customers after trip completion but they are not crediting. Very good video. Very clear voice, nice articulation and pronounciation without any accent. Enjoyed the review despite having seen so many Thar reviews, this one was certainly one of the best not because of the content (which for a review is mostly the same for all), but the presentation. The hard braking was a very good item you did.

Kya ye himachal ke liye best car hai 15 lakhs ke under.. petrol leni chahiye ya diesel....running around 8-10 thousand km per year.....aur gaadi handling aachi hai modon ke liye....aur jaise meri family mai Maruti 800 aur honda amaze hai toh ye lena sahi hooga.
