Very informative video. I have 3 Mahindras and love all of them. The first was the Max 26 XL shuttle (my favorite), the Mahindra 1538 I use with my sickle mower to mow hay and pastures, and the 3rd the Mahindra 1626 which I bale hay with (a small 3x3 Japanese round baler), move round bales, flail mow roadside ditches, etc. They do what I need done.

I'm with you on the Kubota attitude. I went to a dealer that had a massive amount of tractors, some new and some intermingled that were older, and then others sat off to the side near another building. After looking at the new tractors with him and talking about the features and sizes, I asked if he had any used tractors. He said yeah and kind of gave a disinterested point to a certain area in the field. I said well are they for sale. He answered ...well I'm not keeping them. I told him I didn't know whether they were already sold or had some other criteria of perhaps repo status or whatever. He seemed to be a care...less kind of guy, so screw kubota.

If you can find a small, family-owned dealership, they’ll treat you better because they’re working for themselves, but they’re getting scarcer by the day. I loved my other John Deere’s and kubotas, but the dealerships were suck buttholes, I bought Red. There’s a new Branson dealership near me that’s owned by veterans and gives other veterans and first responders a discount.

In India we had Mahindra 225 basic tractor for transportation of bricks . 17 years no issue . The best thing about Mahindra is paint. Today we bought 2013 figo second hand car and 3000 dollars roughly in india. Look at the ac and it functions excellent. But many people in india dont consider ford cars because of spare parts and local dealers. I think same thing for Mahindra in usa. In india every 50 km you will have showroom or alteast local mechanic shop who can easily repair tractor in 30 kilometer.

Great review Tom!! Thank you for that. When I went “in search of”, the JD and Kubota, were never in my consideration. Mahindra WAS considered because one of my friends has a 25E and is very happy with it. I wasn’t willing to travel the distance he was for a reputable dealership. You hit on that early on and THAT, was my number 1 consideration. A neighbor I do a lot of work with has a Kioti and I was very impressed after seeing his performance. He’s got a CK, but I’m going CX. Dealership relationship, support, service and parts…is in my mind the first and most important factor. The Kioti dealership I’m dealing with, is that….a great dealership!! It was dealership that drove me away from YANMAR as well…and I was really set to go YANMAR, until dealership became as issue. Again, too far to travel for my blood. I don’t know if would be of any help to you, but D I Y My Way RU-vid channel has a video on adding another fuse block. Nice review!!

Looks like you could fabricate a plate to protect those hydraulic lines or their may already be one out on the market. It could mount to the two bolts forward of the hoses. Mention it to your dealer and they likely could get a local person to make a few. I'm looking at getting a 1635 and those hoses are very exposed to brush or any logs or sticks that could get kicked up.

I've got a 2017 Emax 22 that I've owned since 2019. To date, the only failures have been the welds on the baffle in the muffler breaking, and a leaking rear axle seal. The dealer told me the muffler was covered under the 2 year bumper to bumper warranty, not the 7 year warranty, so I cut the muffler open, dealt with it, and welded it back together. Couldn't bring myself to pay the $500 price for a new muffler. I'll probably replace the axle seal myself as it looks to be a pretty simple job. Other than that, it's been a good little tractor.

All Mahindra tractors are manufactured overseas, either in India or China. The only two people that Mahindra gives a job to is the salesman and the mechanic that keeps fixing them. Buy American and give your kids or grandkids a job. Buy a John Deere that is made in Augusta, Georgia, John Deere employees thousands of Americans.
@LedgemereHeritageFarm
@LedgemereHeritageFarm 2 года назад
They don’t build compacts in the US and many of their mid sized utilities are built in India. Mitsubishi is Japan. If the John Deere employees don’t stop being greedy, JD will move all their production overseas. Mahindra loaders are built in the US. Kubota is actually building compacts in the US, but John Deere does not John Deere tractors are produced in 9 countries around the world. There are three factories in Brazil that manufacture tractors and harvesters. More John Deere equipment is produced in factories in Argentina, Finland, France, two in Germany, The Netherlands, and in four factories in India. Plus, there are two John Deere factories in Mexico. You have to buy a 7,8, or 9r to get a US built tractor
