I know this car is legend even I'm a fanboy of Mahindra but to make this more premium Mahindra should add embient lightening and hydraulic engine bay (as xuv500 have this) or electric tail gate
Ventilated seats Ambient light Auto dimming IRVM 6 seater option 2nd row ki seats movable Pedal shifters Electric tail gate Better control for sunroof These features are also required.
Xuv 700 require these things :- 1) hydraulic struds for bonnet 2) electric tailgate 3)ambient light is must 4)2nd row sliding mechanism 5)ventilated seats 6) auto dimming rear view mirror ... 🎉❤️
My test drive experience was just phenomenal! Upgraded from i20 to XUV700. Kolkata has such narrow lanes, and maneuvering around the city was a piece of cake. Pick up was smooth. And moving from Manual to Automatic wasn’t a problem at all. Mahindra also was ok with extra kms of test drive.. got the same color. Very classy!! And I booked this car only after following all your videos in the past few months. Thanks Rachit and Motoroctane. 🙂
I have booked the Xuv700 ax7 L AWD but not at all happy with the waiting period… but really crazy about this suv and hence ready to wait… hope to get it by this year end…
@@sunnymurthy4624 no it is not 7 seater...but if you are just looking for a 7 seater go for innova crysta or kia carens... because I know this car is offering 7 seater but it is not usable for common people.....if you'll buy jeep compass trailhawk it'll give you some bold looks with stunning features....or if it's costly go for Normal jeep compass 4×4......you know you'll not have to wait too much and it is also a safe car....it will look more bold and safer than this For XUV700 : "DURR KE DHOL SUHAVNE HOTE H"
I have XUV700 diesel manual... I am getting average of 19kmpl on highways if drove below 100kmph... within city i am getting 14kmpl... I have calculated the average by tank to tank method.. This new M-Hawk engine is just phenomenal.. if u want average you will get that.. if you are in a mood for power then just touch the pedal and in no time it touches 180... its astonishing to see that even after 140 if you floor the pedal you will get pulled in your seat... Loving it...

Best SUV under 30 L. Tata should learn from Mahindra how to lists features on every model. When you buy XUV700 top model you get everything. Not like Tata, 18” tyre on dark edition, Vantilated seats on kaziranga, even you buy top model 😆. But Xuv has finished the competition.

How do u compare the performance of AWD with 2WD on highway or open roads. I heard in some places that AWD acceleration is better than the 2WD model. Can you confirm on this?
@@motoroctane waiting for it.. Please do a comparison about highway acceleration /stability compared to 2wd one. I booked ine AX7 awd on 8th Oct. Still waiting for delivery
AWD acceleration is not better. The initial acceleration is less than 2WD. This is due to the power distribution mapping in the ECU. Also you cannot do a break boost in AWD to launch it. Normal city driving will not be an issue, but if you are an enthusiast driver and wants to launch always, the 2WD is better.
@@liabj lunching for drag race, while keeping accelerator pedal pressed n keeping rpm high and pressing brake will distribute torque to all wheels and acceleration is less for that. Tht i understood. But if we do normal acceleration from idle.. Without pressing brake, is it still slow? As the torque is distributed in four wheels, so less wheel spin and all wheels will get power and better traction should result in better acceleration.. I may be wrong. Let me know if you have your own experience
0.4 difference between punch and xuv... If we consider adult ratings xuv is in the 5 th place after punch, 300,altroz, nexon...!! But what mahindra is doing is they're providing safety just from past couple of years... The scorpio and bolero scored 0 and 2 stars respectively... May be many manufacturers are focussing on safety but this era is started by tata and it started this since the time of vista... So I always be on the tata side...!!
@@carguy3097 it really don't have.... Just a few days back they've introduced bolero with standard airbags... And it's not appreciatable... While they're promoting their company in the name of safety... It's every car should own it...
If you are always on Tata's side, tell them to get Harrier and Safari crash tested. Why even after years of launching these two so called flagship models don't have safety rating? Have you ever wondered why? Moreover, remember that safety rating is model specific. If Bolero is not safe that doesn't mean XUV 700 with a 5* rating is also not safe.
Does automatic braking applies without cruise?And also only with cruise all adas works? There's no info about all this anywhere abt the clause. Can you please clarify the doubts?

Sir what is the use of safety and performance, when service of the vehicle is equivalent to Volkswagen cars. Most people who buy below the 30l price range expect low service cost and also all the electronics fail in the vehicle. Also, the service of Mahindra is pathetic. It is better to own an Innova or harrier.

Family car and Thar are completely different. Thar isn't a family car. It is a 4 seater and the ingress egress of rear seat isn't great either (2 door). Also the ride+handling isn't suitable or tuned towards highway cruising or comfort. So as a family car XUV is better. It has more features, better comfort, better space, better ergonomics, etc. Thar is best as a second car

Automobile company should give preference to petrol engine rather than diesel engine.. as Mahindra should increase XUV700 petrol engine power to 300 BHP and 470 Nm torque..Just my thought..
Took a test drive today ax7L diese automatic. Few things i noticed.. interior quality for a 30lac car doesnt look like premium .. large touch screen is a gimmick.. mahindra should really focus on efficiency.. the rear seats arent that comfortable. You will feel the difference how mahindra lacks comfort if you sit in kia carens rear seat. I dont think it justifies the asking price. No efficiency, average comfort, average interiors.. talking about the performance, it’s good. But i feel scorpio n gives a feeling of more Punch when you floor. Xuv gives a linear power delivery..not to mention the missing ventilated seats

Hi, Plz put some light on pickup of awd & normal.. as i have petrol auto.. & it picks up speed like anything.. but there is one youtuber Explore the unseen.. he got his awd to drag race.. but it was not at all good.. he later told that awd cannot have good accleration like fwd xuv.. is it so????? As in one of commercials of xuv700 its seen thar awd had outstanding pickup.. plz put some light on it// thanks :)
Anshul - AWD always has a better pick up before it will have more grip to move from nil speed. So, in Diesel FWD and AWD, AWD will have better pick and the gap increases on slippery surfaces
Bruh where ever someone says that 700 lack these features people come crying that u only get this much in this price....... Like just stfu cuz we never told Mahindra to keep the car in this price they can add these features in higher models so we can be evn more satisfied....... Plus high waiting is a pain in ass especially when u need car in a month or 2 at most.... Going with meridian instead
