Mahindra should have used longitudinal engine on this car, along with rear differential and 4wd transfer case. Monocoque is okay but rwd is must for a vehicle of this size. To put it simply, fwd can't handle 450 nm of torque. Need rwd with 4wd hardware, not awd.

Faisal bhai since I own the new xuv 700 ax7 pet AT , I wanted to make one correction in your video . To go into the third row seats you don’t need to reach back to pull the lever , that is for the third seat passengers to get down . To get in the lever below which is used to recline adjustment should be pulled and held while simultaneously lifting the seat as soon as the back falls down and you can roll it over . It’s a bit of a hassle at first , but it’ works just fine once your familiar with it . Thank you

@@SunFlower-ts9ow RWD costs more than current price and will diminish the mileage. Already Petrol AT is giving only 7-8kmpl in city, if do go for RWD it will reduce to 5kmpl. As you may know, For RWD one should go for Crysta but it doesn’t come with Monocoque with decades of 5 gears only not 6. 😊

I am sure there are many people who'd like to buy this as a 5 seater car (as 7 seater is actually not very practical), but the issue is the best they can get is AX5 trim in 5 seater which is not value for money at all, plus it misses out on almost everything (right from ADAS to even rear parking camera!!). They should released AX7 trim for 5 seater version as well. AX5 doesn't even have cruise control, rear parking camera and electrically foldable ORVMs.

The design language is definitely hit or miss for many. For me it's a miss not an class look exteriors... Xuv 500 is also a mass look than a class feel. On the other hand scorpio road presence is good. But Mahindra nailed it with pricing this time.. Interior console of this 700 is excellent.

Kushaq and Taigun both are sister twins built on MQB platform with 95% localisation in our country. If you'd driven polo/vento/rapid before then these SUVs will be slight let down on the interiors and some quality issues as owners described like EPC error, occassional door rattling and in one of the videos I saw that the fender material on Taigun was cheap metal/aluminium sheet. Obviously VW, SKODA made some sacrifices on quality of few parts. Anyway take test drives of both vehicles and prefer the one which suits you more better. You won't find much differences on performance or power coz they share the same engine variants and it's all upto the looks and interior fit finish which you prefer.

Boot space when all three rows raised is more in XUV700 than Safari. I personally checked it out. I also kept Hector plus as option but MG was very bad in their sales and then didn`t even explain me about the car perfectly as Mahindra and Tata explained. And the price of MG was too much than Safari too. I only like XUV700 and Safari also somewhere these both cars look similar because both cars were designed by Pratap Bose.
