From watching the streams, it honestly doesn't feel as bad as it seems at first glance, like the basics are pretty easy to click after awhile, but it does have a monstrously high skill ceiling that contributes for sure. It's like a Timmy playing Magic, where they understand that creatures and lands and spells do something, but then there's understanding what your opponent could be holding, what the archetypes are, what lines to go for, etc.
