It's nice, interesting, but it does seem a bit different in places from the Mahler of the 9 preceding symphonies, whether that was due to his evolving or the presence of another influence/hand is hard to say. E.g., as the first movement of Busoni's piano concerto is considered by some to be like Brahms suffused with Mediterranean light, so this could be thought of as Mahler suffused with British light, eh.
